Black Hawk Police Report, October 2025
On 10/1/25, at approximately 1:58 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no license plate displayed occurring at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/1/25, at approximately 2:51 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Hotel on a report of a potential physical disturbance in progress. An investigation determined that nothing criminal occurred, and a report was completed.
On 10/1/25, at approximately 11:45 a.m., officers responded to the Saratoga Casino for a medical incident in which a party was unconscious. The party was referred to the Gilpin Ambulance Authority
On 10/1/25, a detective from Lakewood PD requested assistance in obtaining casino surveillance footage for their incident. Footage was acquired and the detective was notified.
On 10/1/25, at approximately 4:10 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to maintain lane occurring on the 100 block of Richman Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/1/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 119 with no back license plate. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle at southbound Highway 119 mile marker 5.8. The driver handed a ticket they already received on 9/29/25. The driver showed officers proof of appointments to get registration and driver’s license. The driver showed proof of insurance on the vehicle as well.
On 10/1/25, officers observed a vehicle that appeared to have no plates. When officers stopped the vehicle in the Monarch Casino garage, there was a dealer plate in the back passenger side of the rear window. The driver was issued a verbal warning.
On 10/1/25, at approximately 9:16 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling eastbound from the Monarch parking garage located at 488 Main Street without its headlights on. The driver was contacted and deemed not to be intoxicated. The driver was issued a verbal warning, and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/1/25, a Black Hawk officer observed a driver driving a vehicle with the passenger's headlight burned out. The officer stopped the vehicle and noticed that the registration had expired on 7/25. The driver could not provide their insurance information upon request until the officer was at the window to issue the summons. The driver was issued a Black Hawk Municipal summons for a defective vehicle and could not show proof of insurance upon request, with a warning for expired plates.
On 10/1/25, at approximately 9:37 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no number plate displayed occurring at 6100 Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/1/25, at approximately 10:45 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino hotel located at 111 Richman Street to assist the Black Hawk Fire Department and Gilpin County Ambulance crews with an intoxicated party. Once on scene, officers came into contact with another intoxicated party who was taken into protective custody and later transported to an area hospital. A report was completed.
On 10/2/25, at approximately 1:10 p.m., officers observed a vehicle with an expired license plate 4/24 in the 6000 block of Highway 119. The driver was stopped and issued a citation.
On 10/2/25, officers received a call about two potentially fraudulent charges that occurred at the Lodge Casino from 9/11/25 to 9/14/25. A report was taken.
On 10/2/25, officers observed a vehicle displaying expired registration 5/24 at Highway 119. Officers stopped the driver and issued a summons for expired registration and failing to produce insurance upon request.
On 10/2/25, a Black Hawk officer took a phone report on a missing cell phone. The party lost the phone between 11 p.m. on 10/1/25 and 2 a.m. on 10/2/25. Horseshoe Casino surveillance is looking into the missing phone. It has not been recovered.
On 10/2/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling west on Miners Road approaching the intersection of Miners Road and Bobtail Road. Officers observed the vehicle running the stop sign at the intersection. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on Gregory Street next to the Gregory Plaza. The driver had an expired driver's license of 9/6/25. The driver was issued a summons.
On 10/2/25, at approximately 10:44 p.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 119 at mile marker 7 without its taillights illuminated. The driver, unaware of the issue, was contacted and given a verbal warning. A field interview report was completed.
On 10/3/25, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving south bound on Highway 119 and mile marker 5.8 for failing to obey a traffic control device. The driver was issued a verbal warning.
On 10/3/25, at approximately 4:08 a.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling south bound on Highway 119 near mile marker 5.8 that was following another vehicle closely causing the other vehicle to veer off the road. The driver was issued municipal summons.
On 10/3/25, at approximately 5:45 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to northbound Highway 119 and mile marker 2 on a report of a single-vehicle accident with unknown injuries after the vehicle left the roadway and went into a ditch. Upon arrival, emergency responders quickly assessed the scene and located all occupants of the involved vehicle. After evaluation, it was determined that no one had sustained any injuries from the incident. Emergency personnel ensured the area was safe before clearing the scene, and the Colorado State Patrol is investigating the accident.
On 10/3/25, at approximately 5:33 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an expired temporary tag. The driver was issued a verbal warning.
On 10/3/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling west on Miners Road approaching the intersection of Miners Road and Bobtail Road. Officers observed the vehicle running the stop sign at the intersection. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on Gregory Street, next to the Carriage House parking garage. The driver handed appropriate documentation to the officers. A verbal warning was issued.
On 10/3/25, at approximately 7:02 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for not using turn signals. The driver was issued a verbal warning.
On 10/3/25, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on Main Street. The driver was issued a Gilpin County Summons for operating a motor vehicle with expired plates.
On 10/3/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling southbound Highway 119 with no license plate attached to the vehicle. An officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at mile marker 5. The driver handed appropriate documentation. The driver came back to attempt to locate the Douglas County Sheriff’s Officer for mental health. The driver was not having any mental health issues. A verbal warning was issued.
On 10/3/25, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a Black Hawk officer was driving south on Main Street when they heard what sounded like a verbal disturbance outside of Bally's North Casino. Upon further investigation the individual involved came back with a warrant and was taken to the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office.
On 10/3/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle with no head lights exiting the Z Casino parking lot and going southbound on Highway 119. Officers followed the vehicle to observe any driving actions. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at mile marker 5.8 southbound Highway 119. Upon contact, the driver handed the officer appropriate documentation. A verbal warning was issued.
On 10/4/25, at approximately 2 a.m., officers responded to the area of the Bally's parking garage located at 255 Main Street regarding a report of a domestic violence incident in a vehicle. The vehicle involved in the incident was traveling southbound on Highway 119, where officers, with the assistance of Gilpin County Sheriff Deputies, conducted a traffic stop. After further investigation and interviews with both the driver and passenger, it was determined that a physical altercation had occurred. A primary aggressor was identified, arrested, and transported to the Gilpin County Jail. A report was completed.
On 10/4/25, officers were dispatched to Horseshoe Casino on a male party not wanting to leave. The party made harassing statements while they left. The party was issued a Municipal Summons for harassment and issued a trespass notice by Horseshoe/Lady Luck Security.
On 10/4/25, at approximately 2:40 p.m., officers observed a vehicle with an expired temporary tag in the 6000 block of Highway 119. The driver had a mandatory protection order restraining contact with the passenger. The driver was arrested.
On 10/4/25, Black Hawk officers responded to a 911 hang up that was tracked to the Z Casino parking lot. Officers were in the area and were notified by dispatch that a reporting party observed a male and female arguing in a white sedan. Officers contacted the reporting party, and he pointed to the white sedan where he saw a male and female arguing inside the vehicle. A report was taken.
On 10/4/25, officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck parking garage and hotel on a report of a male party with a shotgun. It was determined that the shotgun was cased and that the party was taking it to their hotel room for safekeeping. No crime occurred.
On 10/4/25, at approximately 9:26 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling north bound Main Street with expired number plates. The driver was issued a Gilpin County Summons.
On 10/4/25, at approximately 11:18 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for careless driving. The driver was issued a verbal warning.
On 10/5/25, at approximately 12:59 a.m., Black Hawk officers received a phone report for lost property at the Ameristar Casino. The property was recovered.
On 10/5/25, at approximately 4:48 a.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to obey a traffic control device at the intersection of Richman and Main. The driver was issued a verbal warning.
On 10/5/25, at approximately 8:12 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to Ameristar Casino on a report of a male peeing outside in the parking lot. While officers were speaking with the male, they were advised that the party had not paid for his meal at the Timberline Grill. The male party was escorted back to pay his bill and released on a warning.
On 10/5/25, at approximately 10:06 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino to assist the Colorado Division of Gaming, who were in contact with a gaming suspect with numerous warrants for their arrest. Once on scene, the Division of Gaming took the suspect into custody without issue. Black Hawk officers then assisted with transporting the suspect to the Gilpin County Jail. A report was completed.
On 10/5/25, at approximately 10:23 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino, on a wallet and cell phone theft. The suspect was contacted and issued a summons for theft; the wallet and cell phone were subsequently returned to the victim.
On 10/6/25, at approximately 2 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of expired plates occurring at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was issued a penalty assessment and a report was completed.
On 10/6/25, at approximately 2:28 a.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlights displayed occurring at 6100 Highway 119. The driver was given a warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/6/25, at approximately 2:52 a.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display headlights occurring at 6100 Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/6/25, a Black Hawk officer completed a telephone report of lost property at the Monarch Casino. A piece of jewelry was thought to have been left in a hotel room and had not been located by casino staff.
On 10/6/25, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Black Hawk officers contacted a male and female seen by surveillance participating in a sexual act on an elevator in the Ameristar Casino. The male and female were apologetic and embarrassed over the incident. Due to no one in the public witnessing the act and no one else in the elevator, the subjects were given a verbal warning.
On 10/6/25, at approximately 10:23 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a REDDI report vehicle at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was not determined to be intoxicated and was given a verbal warning for a traffic violation. A field interview report was completed.
On 10/7/25, at approximately 5:09 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a welfare check of an individual. The party was placed on a mental health hold and transported to a hospital. A report was completed.
On 10/7/25, at approximately 6:41 p.m., a Black Hawk officer initiated a traffic stop on mile marker 6 on Highway 119 for a vehicle crossing the solid white line. The driver was given a warning and released.
On 10/7/25, at approximately 7:17 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a possible fraud. The victim was unable to provide proof of the fraud and will contact officers when she can obtain it.
On 10/7/25, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a theft. There is suspect information; the case is active.
On 10/8/25, a Black Hawk officer investigated an incident involving a party falling in the 200 block of Main Street on 10/6/25. Information was collected, including a record of the incident and surveillance footage, from the Lodge Casino.
On 10/8/25, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino for a theft of property. The scene was investigated, the suspect was identified, and a report was taken.
On 10/8/25, at approximately 9:37 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to deploy tail lamps occurring at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/9/25, at approximately 12:39 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display headlights occurring at 6100 Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/9/25, at approximately 11:13 a.m., officers observed a vehicle with expired registration (12/2024) in the 5800 block of northbound Highway 119. The driver was unable to provide insurance at the stop. The driver was issued a summons.
On 10/9/25, Gilpin County School went into lockdown. Officers responded along with the Gilpin County Sheriff, the Division of Gaming, and Colorado Parks. The lockdown was determined to be a false alarm after making entry into the school.
On 10/9/25, at approximately 5:14 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired plates. The driver was issued a Gilpin County penalty assessment.
On 10/9/25, officers observed a vehicle going southbound on Main Street at a high rate of speed. The driver was stopped at Highway 119 at mile marker 5.8. Officers issued the driver a warning.
On 10/9/25, officers observed a driver going southbound on Main Street turning on Highway 119. The passenger side headlight was burned out and it was after dusk. The officer stopped the driver at mile marker 6.
On 10/9/25, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of a possible assault. After the investigation, both parties were mutually shoving each other and were separated for the night.
On 10/9/25, at approximately 10:43 p.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling south on Highway 119 and mile marker 5.8 for driving a motor vehicle with expired plates. Upon contact, the driver failed to present insurance and did not hold a valid driver license. The driver was issued a Gilpin County summons and proof of service.
On 10/9/25, at approximately 11:31 p.m., Black Hawk officers received a REDDI report for a vehicle driving north bound on Highway 119. The driver was stopped and after further investigation was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
On 10/10/25, at approximately 9:41 p.m., officers observed a vehicle following too close on Highway 119 and Miners Road. The driver was stopped and given a warning.
On 10/10/25, at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers observed a vehicle with a year validation tab missing on the plate at 8000 Highway 119. Upon clearance, the plate expired on 5/24. The driver was issued a citation.
On 10/10/25, at approximately 2:44 p.m., officers responded to the Copper Kitchen Pizzeria in reference to a customer using a stolen credit card. Upon arrival it was determined to be a misunderstanding. The credit card did in fact belong to the customer and was determined to be "not" stolen. No further action required.
On 10/10/25, officers observed a vehicle displaying expired plates of 6/24 on Highway 119. Officers stopped the vehicle and issued the driver a summons for expired license plates and failed to provide proof of insurance upon request.
On 10/10/25, at approximately 4:26 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired plates. The driver was issued a Gilpin County summons and a proof of service.
On 10/10/25, Black Hawk officers responded to the Timberline Grill restaurant located in the Ameristar Casino on a report of a possible assault. An investigation was conducted and officers concluded that there is no evidence of a crime that occurred. A report was taken.
On 10/11/25, at approximately 3:05 a.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle after it was observed at the intersection of Highway 119 and Richman without their headlights on. A driver was contacted who was deemed not to be intoxicated and was issued a verbal warning. A field interview report was completed.
On 10/11/25, Black Hawk officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of a wallet theft involving missing cash. A suspect was contacted and arrested. The suspect was transported to Gilpin County Jail on charges of theft, violation of a protection order, and obstructing a peace officer.
On 10/11/25, at approximately 11:57 a.m., officers spotted a vehicle with an expired license plate in the 400 block of Main Street. The driver was given a warning.
On 10/11/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle travelling northbound Highway 119 at mile marker 6 with expired registration tags of 5/24. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the 500 block of Main Street. The driver was issued a summons.
On 10/11/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle displaying expired temporary tags. The driver was stopped and issued a penalty assessment for expired tags.
On 10/11/25, at approximately 5:10 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of a wallet theft. The suspect left the casino, and the investigation is ongoing.
On 10/11/25, at approximately 8:11 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired plates. The driver was issued a Gilpin County summons.
On 10/11/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling northbound on Bobtail Road with no tail lights on. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle next to Gregory Plaza. Upon contact, the driver handed officers appropriate documentation. A verbal warning was issued.
On 10/11/25, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a call for a counterfeit $50 bill at Bally's East Casino. Officers arrived, and after investigation, the bill might have come from Burger King on 104th and Federal. The bill was collected and entered into evidence
On 10/11/25, at approximately 9:48 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display headlights occurring at 6000 Highway 119. The driver was issued a penalty assessment and a report was completed.
On 10/11/25, at approximately 10:53 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino for a theft of property. The suspect was identified and a summons issued.
On 10/11/25, at approximately 11:03 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for running a red light. The driver was issued a Gilpin County penalty assessment.
On 10/12/25, at approximately 2:25 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a prohibited u-turn occurring at the intersection of Main Street and Richman Street. The driver was issued a penalty assessment and a report was completed.
On 10/12/25, at approximately 4:19 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to Lodge Casino on a report of a cell phone theft. The suspect has not been identified.
On 10/12/25, a Black Hawk officer took a cold assault report that took place on 10/10/25 in the early morning between the reporting party and suspect at the Monarch Casino. The victim advised that he works with the suspect and has reported it to his employer. He is currently deciding on whether to follow through with criminal charges as he just wants the suspect to leave him alone.
On 10/12/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling south on Highway 119. Officers observed that the vehicle was traveling approximately 20 mph in a posted 35 mph zone. Officers made a traffic stop to check the welfare of the driver. Officers completed the traffic stop and cleared the scene, giving a verbal warning.
On 10/12/25, at approximately 9:51 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an improper turn and following too closely occurring at Main Street and Highway 119. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/13/25, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a hit-and-run traffic accident in the parking garage. There is no suspect information; the case is inactive.
On 10/13/25, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a hit and run accident in the parking garage. The suspect vehicle had already left the area. The victim's vehicle did not have any visible damage. The owner was contacted and due to the lack of any damage, he decided to not pursue criminal charges.
On 10/13/25, Black Hawk officers responded to Highway 119 at mile marker 5.8 due to a report of an intoxicated party driving recklessly northbound. Officers observed the reported vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Officers issued a summons and cleared the scene.
On 10/13/25, at approximately 8:58 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an improper turn and red light violation occurring at Miners Road and Main Street. The driver was issued a summons and a report was completed.
On 10/14/25, a Black Hawk officer located a stolen vehicle in the Lady Luck Casino parking lot. The suspect was later arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/14/25, officers from the Black Hawk Police Department arrested a male party on outstanding warrants at the Black Hawk Police Department. The male was transported to the Gilpin County Jail without incident.
On 10/14/25, at approximately 9:50 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar parking garage on a report of an individual threatening patrons and acting erratically. The suspect was contacted, fought with officers, and was taken into custody. The suspect was booked into jail after a medical clearance, an associated vehicle was towed and a firearm was seized. A report was completed.
On 10/15/25, at approximately 6:40 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino in reference to found narcotics. The narcotics were retrieved and there was no suspect information.
On 10/15/25, at approximately 1:09 p.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no plates. Upon the stop, it was discovered that the driver did have a plate. The officer released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 10/15/25, at approximately 5:19 p..m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired plates. Upon the stop, it was discovered that the vehicle was up to date. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 10/15/25, at approximately 5:17 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for careless driving, almost hitting a stationary patrol vehicle on the side of the road. The driver was issued a municipal summons.
On 10/15/25, at approximately 5:43 p.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no plates. It was discovered that the vehicle was recently purchased. The driver was advised not to drive until the vehicle is registered. The Officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.
On 10/15/25, Black Hawk officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on a report of three individuals that broke into the Gilpin Casino unlawfully. Officers arrived on scene and three suspects began to run from the officers. Two suspects were apprehended while one got away and was not able to be located. A report was taken.
On 10/16/25, at approximately 1:51 p.m., officers observed a vehicle travelling carelessly in the 333 block Of Main Street, the driver was stopped and given a verbal warning.
On 10/16/25, at approximately 6:12 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired plates. The driver was issued a Gilpin County penalty assessment.
On 10/16/25, an off-duty Black Hawk police officer called and reported a possible DUI driver heading into the city. The driver was found on the second level of Bally's garage and contacted. They did not have an odor of alcohol on their breath, and they conducted voluntary roadside maneuvers and passed. They were released on a warning for their driving.
On 10/16/25, officers assisted the Colorado Division of Gaming at the Monarch Casino in contacting a suspect in a gaming-related crime. The suspect was contacted in his hotel room, paid restitution to the Department of Revenue, and was released.
On 10/16/25, at approximately 8:31 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino to assist the Division of Gaming while they contacted three suspects for a gaming crime. Officers stood by for cover.
On 10/16/25, at approximately 10:48 p.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving southbound on Highway 119 with expired number plates. Upon contact, the driver failed to present insurance. The driver was issued a Gilpin County summons.
On 10/16/25, at approximately 8:55 p.m., a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to Monarch Casino regarding a missing cell phone. The officer contacted the victim, who stated when he last had it and where he was at the casino. Upon a review of Monarch Casino surveillance, it was determined that the victim took the phone with him to his vehicle, left, and came back. At this time, the phone will be entered as missing.
On 10/16/25, at approximately 11:34 p.m., a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino regarding a patron who had been trespassed from the property and was back on the property, exiting the casino. The party was contacted and issued a Black Hawk municipal summons for trespassing.
On 10/17/25, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle with no head lights on at the intersection of Miners Road and Highway 119. Officers followed the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at Highway 119 mile marker 7. Upon contact, the driver did not show proof of insurance and had a suspended license. A summons was issued.
On 10/17/25, an investigator with ICAC requested assistance in identifying a suspect. The suspect was digitally traced logging into an account from a casino WiFi. The crimes were alleged to have occurred in the Denver Metro area.

Officers arrived and noticed there was still power to the damaged light. The light was moved away from the street, coned off, and Xcel Energy was advised. The light appeared to have been knocked over by the wind.
On 10/18/25, at approximately 2:21 p.m., officers observed a vehicle without a plate at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was stopped, had appropriate paperwork indicating a recent car purchase, and was released with a warning.
On 10/18/25, at approximately 10:47 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a male slapping a female security member's buttocks. Upon investigation, the suspect was tracked down, placed into custody, and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 10/19/25, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a motorhome parked inside the city on Highway 119 mile marker 5.7. Officers spoke with the owner of the motorhome and informed her that she could not be camping in the city.
On 10/20/25, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino parking lot for a suspected narcotics call. Upon contact and further investigation, one suspect was taken to the Gilpin County Jail, one suspect was issued a Gilpin County summons for the paraphernalia, and all individuals were trespassed.
On 10/20/25, at approximately 4:47 p.m., a Black Hawk officer initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of Gregory Street for a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. The driver was informed of the speed limit given a warning.
On 10/21/25, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlamps displayed occurring at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 10/21/25, Black Hawk officers were in the area of Highway 119 and Clear Creek Street and overheard a female party screaming from the residential area of Marchant. Officers made contact with the female and conducted a welfare check at Marchant Street. Officers then cleared the scene after confirming the female was alright.
