Water Conservation and Rainwater Collection: How has Colorado’s drought impacted Gilpin County and what can residents do? We will discuss the state of Colorado drought, how the county is conserving water, and learn water conservation practices to reduce indoor and outdoor water use. Wine Tasting: Raise a glass and join us for a fun community wine tasting! Here’s how it works: each participant brings a bottle of wine valued up to $25 to share. Wines should be brought in a brown paper bag for a blind tasting and together we’ll explore a wonderful variety of wines from near and far. It’s a relaxed and social way to discover new favorites, swap recommendations, and enjoy great company. BCAAA Project Visibility Documentary: Join us for a meaningful evening as we screen the Project Visibility documentary, a powerful film that gives voice to Rainbow Elders—LGBTQ+ community members 50 and older—sharing their lived experiences in Boulder and the surrounding Colorado counties. First created in 2004 and updated in 2022, this documentary shines a light on the unique challenges and rich diversity within the LGBTQ+ community, particularly around aging and accessing care. 5:30 to 7 p.m., The Old Gallery, 14863 Highway 7, Allenspark.

Madam Lou Bunch Days: Join us on Main Street for the party of the year for Central City’s most celebrated Madam and hometown hero. Enjoy live entertainment, performances, a costume contest, food, local vendors and more. The famous bed race is at 3 p.m. sharp. Noon to 5 p.m., Main Street, Central City.
