NEDERLAND — “Lettuce turnip the beet together and make the market extra magical” was Nederland Farmers Market’s invitation for their Party in the Peaks celebration on Sunday, July 19. It was also “Hippie Day,” where, conveniently for many, keeping with the theme didn’t require donning anything other than what they usually wear.
Healthy fresh produce and great musical entertainment by Salasee & the Fafa Family and bluesy 100LB Housecat made for an enjoyable gathering.
