Scorpio is the most powerful sign of the zodiac. This cycle Scorpio hosts Venus retrograde, Mercury retrograde, Hallowe'en, and the midterm elections. Venus is reversing in Scorpio for 40 days, strong in her theme of past loves, finances, power struggles and boundaries. On the 24th, Mercury also reverses in this sign in his role as researcher, gathering information for the future.

On Hallowe'en the veils between the worlds are thin and we communicate with the mystic. Political currents of power are shifting around the country as the nation prepares to vote with the reversing planets adding elements of chaos to the process. Both Venus and Mercury are direct on Friday the 13th of November. At that point we move forward, with chaos moving into clarity, ready for action.

Aries - The game is on. Hallowe'en is the penultimate Scorpio holiday. Costumes, disguises, and intrigues rule the day. You share Mars, the god of sports and war, with Scorpio as a ruler. This is the time to gather information, create a costume, and prepare to leap ahead in November.

Taurus - Scorpio is your opposite sign of partnerships in the zodiac. Venus, of love and money, your guide, is now reversing in Scorpio, a placement of intrigue for her. You are looking back at past issues in these areas, holding a lantern, and looking for answers to guide your future.

Gemini - Clever Mercury, your guide, is reversing in Scorpio, joining Venus who has already entered the underworld of the past. Mercury in Scorpio is the research scientist, searching for clues in your past that will allow your DNA to have cleaner expression in your future.

Cancer - Intense Scorpio is activating your capacity to design costumes for your children, partner, and you. You are flowing comfortably with the challenges of the reversing planets, and political intrigues both personally and nationally. You are gathering the resources you need to proceed.

Leo - The month ahead contains intense impulses for the lions of the zodiac. You are competent and strong and you want the world to know that. The pattern at this time involves people flexing their power muscles. Think back to past experiences and express your effectiveness with grace.

Virgo - Mercury, who knows what to do and when to do it, is your life guide. He is now moving in reverse in Scorpio, as the detective who looks for the clues and finds the solutions. Gather information until November 11, when Mercury moves forward, and then make your moves.

Libra - Both Venus of love and money and Mercury of ideas and the world around us are moving backward in intense Scorpio. Venus is your guide and her themes now are finances and power struggles. Review your past behaviors and establish boundaries and clarity in communication.

Scorpio - Happy Birthday! You are the strongest sign of the zodiac currently navigating complex issues. Intense Venus reversing in Scorpio introduces themes of love, money and power, and Mercury, also in your sign, is the detective finding clues to move you from chaos to clarity.

Sagittarius - How fortunate to be a philosophical Sagittarius during the fraught month ahead. You are not only able to rise above the fray, but also to provide apt guidance to those around you. Planets moving backward bring up issues from the past in order to find clarity in the present.

Capricorn - Practical Capricorn knows how to take a hint from dynamic Scorpio and proceed expertly over the intense month ahead. Reversing planets are pulling us into the past for clues about how to navigate the future. Venus and Mercury move forward on Friday, November 13.

Aquarius - Disguises are everywhere and reality is shifting the sands beneath your feet. The sign of Aquarius remains steadfast, with formidable Pluto, the god of the underworld, in your sign until 2044. Navigate the power struggles that are arising around you by establishing boundaries.

Pisces - Intuitive Pisces graciously navigates the ocean currents of power struggles and confusion created by the reversing planets over the course of the next month. The concept of the year is the establishment of boundaries, and the theme now is to remain calm, cool, and collected.
