NEDERLAND — No matter what the scoreboard reads at the end of a game, you can hear from Coach Gonzalez—or read in one of the emails he sends to his players and families—"We had another game, a great game in my opinion and tomorrow we have another opportunity to continue learning and improving."
That is the spirit that Coach Gonzalez grants his soccer team players season after season at Nederland High School. That is why the players play hard until the whistle blows at the end of the game.
On September 14, 2026, the Nederland Panthers took a loss to Windsor Charter Academy, 9-2. This puts their seasons current record at 1-4-1.

Windsor Charter is always a tough competitor on the soccer field.
Gonzalez stated, "The season is going well because the team is working really hard. We have a lot of new people this year. We are practicing and learning new concepts and every player is doing a great job. I have plenty of confidence in the group of players we have here in Ned."
The next home game for Nederland High School boys' team is on September 23 against Sheridan at 4:30 p.m. Come to Nederland Middle-Senior High School, watch the game and support the players.
