I wanted to write to say how much my family enjoyed the Nederland Jazz & Wine Festival held at Chipeta Park in Nederland, Colorado, last Saturday.
We arrived about 15 minutes after the first band had started, and noted that the music was well-contained within the park and not audible on our walk in. What a great gathering of friendly folks, enjoying the music together and visiting with a variety of vendors. It was nice to see the Nederland Area Seniors at a table too, sharing information about their organization and local community services. I was so pleased to learn that the Jazz & Wine Festival organizers make a substantial financial donation to the seniors group each year! I’m planning to bring my dad in to visit the new Seniors Lounge at the Nederland Community Center, funded by donations from last year’s Ned Jazz & Wine event. I really enjoy these types of community-friendly music events.
Congratulations to the festival organizers for another successful event!
