Axe & Snax does not endorse any candidate

Posted

Dear Editor,

In early July Axe & Snax held a wildfire mitigation event at Rudolph Ranch, owned by Commissioner Candidate Corey Marshall. The project was done as part of a written agreement with the Ranch in exchange for space to store donated wood for future processing into firewood that A&S would distribute free to low-income residents of Gilpin County.

Mr. Marshall has never volunteered with Axe & Snax or contributed without compensation. Despite our request that Mr. Marshall remove any reference to Axe & Snax in his campaign materials, as of this writing it continues on his website.

To be clear Axe & Snax is a charitable institution with 501(c)(3) status and as such does not endorse or give the appearance to endorse any political candidate.
