Dear Editor,
Construction on TEENS, Inc.’s new Early Childhood Education Center is moving right along, and the vision is quickly taking shape.
The building is expected to be fully enclosed in the coming weeks. If everything continues on schedule, the facility should be finished by early summer, which keeps us on track to open this fall.
This progress is thanks to the support of many partners—local leaders, families, donors, and community members—who understand how important early childhood education is for the long-term health of our mountain communities. Once completed, the new center will greatly expand licensed childcare capacity in Nederland and the surrounding Peak to Peak region. It will provide high-quality early learning opportunities while helping families continue to live and work locally.
With 73% of funding secured, the Bright Futures Capital Campaign continues as we work toward the final phase of fundraising.
Those who wish to learn more or get involved can visit teensinc.org/brightfutures/ or contact Executive Director Stephen LeFaiver at stephen@teensinc.org.
With the community’s continued support, we look forward to welcoming children and families into the new center.
Jennifer Karowe, TEENS, Inc. Board President
