This Saturday, June 22, 2024, is the Neder-Day of Art, which will feature several arts and crafts exhibits and activities for the community to participate in!
From noon to 4 p.m. at 80 East 2nd Street local artists, like Lindsay Erickson (pictured here), will be painting eight unique and vibrant picnic tables. The project is funded by the Nederland Downtown Development Authority and organized by their Public Art Committee.
Six tables were painted last year by talented Nederland artists, which can be viewed by the community garden, behind The Deli. This year, not only will Nederland artists be designing new tables, attendees will also be able to lend their artistic talents to the creation of a community table.
This is just one of the many events taking place throughout town during the Neder-Day of Art where Nederland will be showing off its creative spirit.
