Dear Editor,
Thanks to everyone who came to the Peak to Peak Music Education Association's 4th of July party. It was a really fun day with great music, tons of kids and dogs, and great beer! We raised $850 for the Gilpin County School District's music department from the generous donations of attendees.
Special thanks to The Very Nice Brewing Company for hosting the event, Jake Leg, High Lonesome, Adam Pause, Brittney Wagner, and Kylie for terrific entertainment; Michael Nuzum and his helpers for exceptional sound production; Suvi Brooks, Sparrow, Marc Latiolet, and Rob Savoye for the awesome volunteer help; Chris Perret and his Peaceful Security crew; and Phil Gibbs and family for the nice stage.
Thanks to The Mountain-Ear and Golden Spur Feed for their sponsorships, too. We couldn't do it without all of you!
