BLACK HAWK - Wow, another graduation season has arrived, and that means our little 32-page newspaper is literally overflowing with stories. It also means we have to decide which stories we can hold for next week, and which ones need to publish now. This is a weekly conversation we have here at The Mountain-Ear. And a very BIG conversation when we have so many amazing things happening in the community!
Instead of telling you all about the process, I'm going to give you a list of stories you'll see on May 22 and May 29. This is an abbreviated list, but it’s important to share as these specific editions get picked up and saved by families of our graduates.
As well, when you have the list you may see a graduation that is not on it, and can let us know about it, or take photos and submit as a citizen journalist. Did you know we do that? Yeah.. we LOVE contributions from our readers.
