GILPIN COUNTY - Randi Ebers has been teaching for over 20 years and have been in Gilpin for six years. She enjoys teaching the elementary students with all their energy and excitement and is inspired by the secondary band and choir. She loves sharing in the musical growth of our students in Gilpin.
This year she brought a twist to the performance of the elementary band sections, having the strings instruments play first, followed by the wind instruments. Each played the same songs, including "Jingle Bells." The wind section played two extra songs in addition to the playlist. It was a nice mixture and interesting to hear them in different sections. The kids were full of concentration and played an excellent concert!
