Due to the recent extreme wind event, Gilpin County is re-opening the slash site to Gilpin County residents (no commercial loads).
The Gilpin Country Slash Site will be open December 11 - December 21, Wednesday – Saturday: 7 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Sunday: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
This emergency opening is to help residents manage fallen branches and debris.
