Deb Weise Acupuncture: A personal journey into health

Posted

Deb Weise experienced a decline in her overall health in her 30s due to a multitude of food and environmental allergies. She was led to try acupuncture to alleviate and heal these reactions. The acupuncturist cleared her allergies very simply using this healing art. This excited Weise so much that she returned to school to study acupuncture due to a sincere desire to help others have health in their lives and live more fully.

Weise provides Classical Five Element Acupuncture. Five Element treats the mind, body and spirit. She also provides Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET) Acupuncture. Micro needling for Facial Rejuvenation is one other acupuncture treatment she offers.

Weise says that the favorite part of her practice is “to witness daily people feeling better and stronger in themselves. Because of this they can show up more fully in their lives. It makes my heart so grateful and happy.”

Healthcare has been Weise’s career. She started as an occupational therapist prior to having the inspiration to become an acupuncturist. She desires to practice and provide acupuncture services for the remainder of her life. She truly loves what she does every day.

She brings a deep understanding of the Worsley Classical Five Element form of acupuncture which produces a deep understanding of the whole person. In her own experience and success in curing her allergies she has concentrated her studies and practice on allergy elimination. Recently, she has expanded to study and provide facial micro needling.

When Weise married her husband, James, they both knew that they wanted to live in the mountains. They have been in the mountains for 25 years and in Nederland for 19 of those. They chose Nederland because it was a small quiet town, was beautiful and had easy access to nature. They purchased a pair of snowshoes for their daughter Takira when she was four years old so they could always walk up the hill to Nederland Elementary. Takira is now 18.

The proximity to Denver and Boulder also made life easier. Weise considers Nederland a calm, peaceful and beautiful place to land and she expresses gratitude daily for their choice of a home place.

She is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping and crosscountry skiing. Walking through the woods is “grounding” especially in the time after the snow has melted and before it snows again. She and her husband enjoy traveling and exploring new places as well. When indoors Weise enjoys cooking, sharing time with friends and family, making soap and learning about wellness and alternative health opportunities that promote health and well-being naturally.

Weise greatly appreciates the lifestyle living in the wonderful community of Nederland has provided. She says, “It has always felt like being in the right place.”
