Dear Editor,
We want to thank The Mountain-Ear, especially Christopher Kelley, for the “Tragedy in Pictures: Day One” text and photos. They are award-winning and helped us deal with the aftermath of this sad event.
I am a long-time resident of the area and a once subscriber—by snail mail back then, which arrived on the Monday after publication! We’d miss all the good news, classifieds, and MUSIC!
I gave up in my 50s, and just bought one every now and then at the B & F. Fast forward another 20 years or so, and I have just re-subscribed for a year online because the “new” generation of The Mountain-Ear reporting and photography is great, and we need you more than ever as this story unfolds for the people directly affected, the Town and the surrounding mountain communities.
I may be well behind the curve on this, but I appreciate you making it convenient and affordable to subscribe.
Thank you!
Andrea Sedlmayr
