Construction crews are rushing to finish the base area of the Mighty ARGO Cable Car before the ribbon cutting ceremony on April 25. Daily operations are scheduled to begin on April 27. Tickets can be purchased online at mightyargo.com
The Mighty ARGO Cable Car covers 1.3 miles and has a 1,200 foot vertical gain above Clear Creek. The summit area features a restaurant, shops, and an amphitheater. Mountain bikers will be able to ferry their bikes up with them like a ski gondola to ride the trails in Virginia Canyon Mountain Park.
The Clear Creek Sport Shooting Park outside of Dumont is in the final stages of construction. A grand opening is planned for around Memorial Day. The park is scheduled to operate year round and will trigger sport shooting restrictions in Roosevelt and Arapaho National Forests.
Construction of the shooting sheds is the last phase before opening the Clear Creek Sport Shooting Park. There will be 25 rifle and pistol lanes open to the public and a club house for refreshments and gun safety training.
