COAL CREEK -- On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Coal Creek Canyon Improvement Association (CCCIA) hosted its first Spring Arts and Crafts Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its community hall.
The market hosted over 15 local vendors showcasing handmade products, including fine art, jewelry, candles, and pottery. Attendees could also eat baked goods provided by Canyon Coffee and Two Birds One Scone.
Reflecting on the event, CCCIA Vice President Jeremy Turnmeyer says that the market “not only celebrated the creativity and talent within our community but also helped support small businesses and local artists.”
The sunshine-filled day “made for a lively and welcoming atmosphere for all ages,” encouraging the celebration of local artists and small businesses. Turnmeyer extended “a heartfelt thank you to all our vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and visitors for making this year’s event a resounding success.”
The CCCIA will continue the Spring Arts and Crafts Market for the foreseeable future. Turnmeyer says, “We look forward to seeing everyone again next spring!”
