Dear Editor,
Brady Fowler announced his campaign for Gilpin County Commissioner. Fowler, a US Army veteran with over 20 years of service, is running to represent hardworking Gilpin County Coloradans, safeguard taxpayer dollars, stop wasteful spending, support small businesses, and improve public safety.
“Gilpin County Coloradans deserve to be heard and represented,” said Fowler. “Too often, the county government forces burdensome taxes, pushes unwanted projects, and wastes taxpayer dollars. I’m running because Gilpin County needs leadership that respects taxpayers, stops wasteful spending, and defends our way of life.”
“As County Commissioner, I’ll listen to you, work for you, and represent you. I’ll focus on protecting taxpayer dollars, standing against wasteful spending, supporting first responders, and working to keep our communities safe.”
Born and raised in Colorado, Brady joined the US Army after high school. He went on to serve more than 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant/E8. Throughout his multiple overseas deployments, Brady was awarded many commendation citations such as the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation and Combat Action Badge.
Brady is a father of two grown daughters and the proud grandpa of a granddaughter. Brady and his wife, Christy – a Chief Warrant Officer in the US Army with over 30 years of service – call Black Hawk home. After a lifetime of service to our country, Brady is ready to serve Gilpin County.
