On Saturday, August 29, 2026, all afternoon, amateur boxing took over on Historic Main Street in Central City. It was later followed in the evening by live music starting. The event, organized by Hit Squad Boxing, was presented uniquely right on the street.
The ring was set up directly on Main Street, creating an outdoor boxing venue in the middle of historic Central City. This was part of a larger effort to bring more community events and new visitors into town while giving Colorado's boxing community a unique place to compete.
Boxing Central will continue in Central City on September 12, presented by Denver Police Brotherhood Youth Boxing; and on September 26, presented by Ghost Town Promotions
