NEDERLAND - On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the Nederland Fire Protection District stationed themselves at the Nederland Mining Museum at 200 North Bridge Street to await Boulder County Parks and Open Space Rangers and the county’s Regional Bomb Squad in order to safely dispose of some old blasting caps that had been donated. The Bomb Squad suited up and deployed their equipment, while Rangers positioned themselves at key locations to keep pedestrians from entering the area.
