Appreciation and respect for Corey Marshall

Posted

Dear Gilpin County,

I wanted to take a moment to share my profound appreciation for someone who has made a significant impact on my professional and personal life Corey Marshall.

When I first joined Rudolph Ranch I was new to ranching and had limited experience in the intricacies of horsemanship. Despite my lack of background, Corey saw potential in me and offered me a position to work at on the ranch. This initial opportunity turned out to be a transformative experience for me. Corey taught me horsemanship, which takes trust, respect, empathy, and a whole lot of patience.

What sets Corey apart is not just his impressive business acumen, but his remarkable ability to teach and lead with genuine compassion. His approach to mentoring was both patient and inspiring. He took the time to show me the ropes, offering clear explanations and practical insights that helped me quickly get up to speed. His hands-on teaching style and willingness to share his extensive knowledge made learning not only effective but enjoyable.

Beyond his professional skills, Corey possesses an innate empathy that resonates deeply with those around him. He genuinely cares about the people he works with, understanding that the well-being of his team directly influences the success of the business. His compassionate leadership fostered a supportive and motivating work environment.

I know from working with Corey his leadership will make him an effective commissioner. Corey is primed to make an immediate and powerful impact for our county. He does not need anyone to show him the ropes, he will be setting the new standard and driving change.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked at Rudolph Ranch, it was truly a blessing. I know when looking back at my life both Corey and Debbie will be the first MENTORS I always think of!

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I hope it conveys just how much Corey has positively impacted my professional and personal journey.

Warm regards,

Joe Perhats
