clouds like a just crashed wave
just above the mountains
roiling surf over solid rock
clouds like another range
hung above the rockies
all white and pillowed
at the end of the sky
clouds like miracles
like the breath of unseen gods
like a frozen explosion
like there might be rain later
but for now
there is mostly awe
and perfect light
on soft shapes above me
