BLACK HAWK – A new vape and smoke shop has opened in Black Hawk at 221 Gregory Street, Unit C, with Ishwar Acharya as the owner and sole employee.
Upon entering the second-floor business, I noticed the shop was clean, organized, and bright.
Acharya said that at first he was just helping his brothers, who own smoke shops in Golden and Arvada. But then he decided to open his own vape shop in Black Hawk. He has been proactive in getting the word out to nearby businesses, especially the dispensaries.
Black Hawk Vape & Smoke began operating on November 25, 2024, and aims to cater to both locals and visitors in the area.
"People were driving a long way for their vape and juices – that’s why I thought this would help people from this area," Acharya explained. The convenient location will definitely save locals a trip to Golden to buy vape products.
With a mission centered on convenience and customer satisfaction, the shop offers an extensive selection of vaping and smoking products, including cigars, cigarettes, disposable vaporizers, and vape juices.
The store features an array of accessories as well, such as glass pipes, rolling trays, dab rigs, mini torches, grinders, and blunt wraps, along with a selection of kratom and CBD products.
For those unfamiliar, kratom is a natural herbal supplement derived from the leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa tree, native to Southeast Asia. It is often used to promote relaxation or energy, depending on the strain and dosage.
The store offers tobacco at highly competitive prices, presenting a more affordable option compared to the higher prices found at nearby casinos.
Acharya’s focus on customer satisfaction extends to offering promotions and loyalty incentives. New customers currently receive a $5 coupon for their first purchase, and a New Year’s Sale is planned to attract more patrons.
