COLORADO — Tuesday, June 30, was Primary Election Day in Colorado. There were major statewide primaries this year: governor, secretary of state, state treasurer, attorney general, and one US Senate seat.
All eight Congressional Districts were also on the ballot. However, not every primary race was contested.
Further, all 65 of the State House of Representatives seats, and 21 of the 35 State Senate seats were open for election.
Typically in Colorado, in areas where the Democrats or Republicans strongly predominate, it is almost certain that the Primary winners will go on to win the general election in November.
Unofficial results follow. Final results will be available later this month.
