PEAK TO PEAK - The Gilpin County Democratic Party sent thirteen souls out along nearly three miles of the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway to see what might have accidentally flown out of cars and trucks.
Over the past twelve years, these ventures have yielded some unusual items such as a $100 bill as well as an adult film CD. This year, the most interesting item was a wind-blown political campaign yard sign. Altogether, there were 50 Fireball containers and a near equal number of tequila, whiskey and vodka containers.
