Oktoberfest comes to Coal Creek

The Coal Creek Canyon Improvement Association (CCCIA) sponsored an Oktoberfest celebration at the CCCIA Hall on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Board President Norma Cassin and Vice President Jeremy Turnmeyer organized the event for their second year.

Oktoberfest comes to Coal Creek

COAL CEEK CANYON - The Coal Creek Canyon Improvement Association (CCCIA) sponsored an Oktoberfest celebration at the CCCIA Hall on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Board President Norma Cassin and Vice President Jeremy Turnmeyer organized the event for their second year.

The menu included brats, hot dogs, German potatoes, and pretzels with cheese. Norma made her vegetarian potato salad.

Cooking were Bruce Goodwin and Matt Kaseeska, grill master. In the kitchen were Suzy Schemel, Cassin, and Turnmeyer, turning over the brats and bringing forward the potato salad.

The event attracted 66 people.

The next events at the hall will be:

  • Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Arts & Crafts Holiday Market, November 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Santa visit for kids, December 24, noon to 2 p.m.  

  • Santa Paws for Pets, December 20.
