NEDERLAND — The 2026 season of the Nederland Farmers Market launched on Sunday, May 10, with a celebration of the market's 10-year “Golden Anniversary.” Many familiar vendors — Big Day Farm, Coloradough, and Ellie’s Organic Za’atar — returned, donning golden garb with booths draped in golden opulence.
Uproot Florist was extremely popular, as patrons began lining up for Mother’s Day flowers before Jesse and Caroline had even finished setting up.
The vibes were set by the classic folk sound of Grassceiling, who put their folksy, bluegrass spin on familiar covers and provided the perfect backdrop amongst the beautiful weather.
Full farmers markets will return every two weeks from now until October 4, with the theme of the next main market on May 24 being “Glitter Day.” A mini-market will be held every “off” Sunday at the same location.
There are also two annual festival events on the horizon, during which the market will feature live music acts, a variety of food trucks, and alcohol vendors. The Party in the Peaks will take place on July 19, and Harvest Fest will be on October 4.
