PEAK TO PEAK - The great wheel of the year has turned and the Autumnal Equinox leads the zodiac into a new season. Day and night are equal throughout the Earth. The balanced sign of the stars, Libra, guides us forward. Libra's strength has been formed by many years of challenges and now moves into a gateway of opportunities.

The great balancing sign of Libra will develop harmony in the present while balancing unresolved issues from the past with potentials for the future. Astrologically a number of planets are reversing, which carries a certain portion of our attention to the past. Fortunate Jupiter in Cancer places the emphasis on family and close relationships as anchors in life.

Aries - Your opposite sign of partnership, Libra, is now in the center of the zodiac. The emphasis for you is heavily placed on your relationships with others in your life. Given all the reversing planets, you find that your goal is to find balance with others while centering on yourself.

Taurus - You want to establish balance in your life and you are assisted in this task by lovely Libra, now holding the scales of justice in the center of the stars. Venus, your guide, is in feisty Leo so you know what you want and thus need to find concord with others around you.

Gemini - It is rather interesting for the lively twins in the heavens to find that your guide, Mercury, who is currently residing in regal Leo, is leaping lion-like into the future, while vast groups of planets are moving in reverse. You will thus pounce on the objects of your desires.

Cancer - You are the archetypal sign of house and home, and therefore find it only fitting that the massive planet of great good fortune, Jupiter, has come to visit you for one year. This happy fellow finds his favorite placement in Cancer, honoring family and moving society forward.

Leo - While the Sun has moved into Virgo, the symbol of the mind, Mercury, and that of art and love, Venus, are now residing in your lion den. With Mercury in your own sign you know what you want and how to get it, and with Venus there you know who you want and how to get them.

Virgo - As the gracious sign of the zodiac, all are comforted by you. Saturn, the teacher, and Neptune, the visionary, are moving back into your opposite sign Pisces. There they shall remain until February of next year. You are enjoined to design equity in all of your relationships.

Libra - Happy Birthday Libra! You are bringing the Fall Equinox to all of Earth on Monday the 22nd of September at 12:19, noon mountain time. This astrologer once balanced an egg on its tip exactly at the moment of the equinox, and you shall balance all of the signs and the earth as well.

Scorpio - The Autumnal Equinox has arrived and with it the sign that precedes yours, amiable Libra. You know the drill. This is the month for you to look backward over your past year. You are aided in this task by vital Mars, your guide, now in Scorpio until the beginning of November.

Sagittarius - Fall has arrived and with it harvests, both physically and metaphorically. Libra has a theme this year, gracious growth in interacting with others, as we respect our own sovereignty. The dedicated asteroid Vesta, goddess of the hearth, in your sign assists you in this process.

Capricorn - The great wheel of the year has turned and the glorious golden season of fall arrives in the mountains. As Libra has turned the wheel, so shall you when winter arrives. Spiritual vision will assist you in balancing all of the corners of your life and the lives of your family.

Aquarius - There are three air signs – lively Gemini, social Libra, and profound Aquarius. Fall places Libra in the center of the zodiac which is a comfortable placement for you. You are considering the future that you want to design, and the places that you want to visit.

Pisces - Happy Equinox and happy harvest, from all of your gardens. Stern Saturn, the teacher of the stars, spends two and a half years with each sign in turn. He snuck into Aries over the summer, but now has returned to you until February, allowing you to create order in your life.
