COAL CREEK CANYON — Fat Tuesday has come and gone, but the Mardi Gras spirit continued at the Coal Creek Community Improvement Association's (CCCIA) community celebration. Coal Creek's brick-and-mortar families and residents mixed and mingled enjoying jambalaya, gumbo, and delicious beignets courtesy of Canyon Coffee.
As stated in CCCIA's mission statement, their purpose "is to nurture and enhance a connected community by maintaining a welcoming and inclusive community center." They want everyone to feel welcome, and they certainly succeeded at this delicious and festive event.
