On 3/1/24, officers responded to a noise complaint at the Monarch Casino of a dog barking. It was determined a female was in the room but not responding. Officers made entry into the room and contacted the female who was determined to be okay.

On 3/1/24, at approximately 10:09 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Gilpin Casino bus stop on the report of a male party harassing people. The male party was later transported to the hospital.

On 3/2/24, at approximately 12:52 p.m., a female party reported her phone was lost at the Ameristar Casino. No suspect was identified. There is a report for lost property only at this time.

On 3/2/24, at approximately 12:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of an assault. Officers arrived and spoke to both the suspect and the victim. The suspect was issued a summons.

On 3/2/24, at approximately 5:38 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a domestic violence disturbance. After investigation, a suspect was arrested. A report was completed.

On 3/2/24, the Black Hawk Police Department found a bag containing small figurines in the roadway on Bobtail Road near Miners Road. The property was booked in for safekeeping.

On 3/2/24, a deputy contacted a vehicle parked in the Rim Rock parking lot with one male occupant. Contact was made and his welfare was checked. He was cleared.

On 3/2/24, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a male party shoved another male party over a gambling machine dispute at the Monarch Casino. Male party who shoved the other was cited for Harassment and Obstruction. He refused to give identification and tried to leave.

On 3/2/24, officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of casino staff receiving threatening messages from a recently terminated employee. A report was taken.

On 3/3/24, at approximately 2:03 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an intoxicated party. The party was transported to the hospital and a report was completed.

On 3/3/24, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of a trespassed party on the property. Officers contacted the male suspect and it was confirmed he was trespassed. The male suspect was issued a summons.

On 3/3/24, officers responded to the Ameristar on an intoxicated male refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival, a male was very agitated. Officers attempted to place the male in custody but he started resisting. A female came up and started trying to interfere in the arrest. Both were arrested and taken to Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/3/24, an officer responded to the Lodge Casino for a stolen wallet. The suspect was ultimately located and issued a summons for theft.

On 3/4/24, at approximately 11:16 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle parked in the middle of the street. The officer contacted the subject who had fallen asleep at the wheel. Subject did not exhibit any signs of intoxication. Subject was cooperative and moved the vehicle out of the street.

On 3/3/24, at approximately 11:34 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a theft report. The suspect was contacted, issued a summons, and released.

On 3/3/24, at approximately 11:18 p.m., officers contacted a vehicle on a private road, Avenue of Allstars, for trespass. The occupant who was sleeping was warned of the trespass and agreed to vacate the area.

On 3/4/24, officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino regarding an ID check. A report was taken.

On 3/4/24, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino for a found fraudulent bill. A report was taken.

On 3/4/24, at approximately 11:40 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop for an improper u-turn at the intersection of Richman Street and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning.

On 3/4/24, at approximately 4:07 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a stolen vehicle. After an initial investigation, the vehicle was given to the wrong valet customer. The vehicle was returned to the owner and with all of its belongings.

On 3/4/24, Black Hawk Police officers responded to Lodge Casino on a report of a stolen cell phone. Upon arrival, officers contacted a female suspect who admitted to taking the cell phone. The suspect was cited for theft generally and trespassed from the Lodge property. 

On 3/5/24, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a trespassed party. The suspect was then contacted minutes later at the Bally's North Casino. An arrest was made and a summons was issued.

On 3/5/24, Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino for a call involving a female party who wanted to file a report for documentation concerns. Upon arrival, officers determined the matter to be civil, but agreed to document the event for the reporting party.

On 3/5/24, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino regarding found narcotics. A suspect was contacted and identified. The narcotics were seized and a report was taken.

On 3/5/24, at approximately 6:23 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in reference a suicidal party. The male was contacted and it was determined he was not a grave danger to himself. Later in the day, the RP on this call arrived at the Golden Police Department and reported that a domestic disturbance had occurred at the Ameristar Casino during the early hours on this day. An officer responded to GPD to interview her.

On 3/5/24, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a welfare check. No contact was made with the party.

On 3/5/24, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel for a woman who was unconscious and not breathing. Officers arrived and performed life-saving measures until medics arrived and took over. The patient was transported to St. Anthony's.

On 3/5/24, at approximately 3:17 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch on a report of domestic violence inside of a room. Officers met with the occupants inside the room and determined it was a verbal disagreement. The guests were told to keep their voices at a lower volume.

On 3/5/24, at approximately 6:18 p.m., officers responded to The Lodge on a report of found drugs. The suspect was issued a summons and trespassed for seven days.

On 3/5/24, at approximately 9:19 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a male and female in a physical disturbance with property damage. The parties were located at a different property and it was determined the incident was a domestic violence incident. A party was arrested.

On 3/6/24, an officer received a phone report of damaged city property. A report was taken.

On 3/6/24, at approximately 7:54 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino valet on a report of a theft from a vehicle. It was unfounded that the theft occurred at the Monarch valet.

On 3/6/24, at approximately 6:59 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a civil dispute. Officers provided a civil standby while property was collected from a hotel room without further incident.

On 3/7/23, at approximately 8:13 a.m., an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a hotel door with gum on it. The gum was removed before the officers' arrival.

On 3/7/24, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino parking garage on a report of a dog walking around. Officers made contact with the dog and were able to check if it was microchipped. The dog was then transported to Charlie's Place.

On 3/7/24, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a male party reported a possible violation of a protection order. After investigating, the report was unfounded.

On 3/8/24, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Ameristar Casino called police on a party that was trespassing. The party was issued a summons for trespassing and then released.

On 3/8/24, officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with no lights. A verbal warning was issued and a FI report was completed.

On 3/8/24, at approximately 8:07 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer was utilizing the LPR Scanner on his marked patrol vehicle and found a vehicle associated with a party with a felony warrant. After investigations, Black Hawk officers were able to identify and locate the suspect. The suspect was arrested for the warrant.

On 3/8/24, at approximately 10:48 p.m., Black Hawk officers received a phone report from a male party stating that he was shoved in front of the Ameristar. Officers talked to the victim and did follow-up. Officers were able to contact the suspect and issue a summons.

On 3/8/24, at approximately 11:01 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a REDDI report. The driver was given a warning in the hotel and advised not to drive. A field interview report was completed.

On 3/9/24, at approximately 1:44 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of expired registration occurring on the 400 block of Main Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/9/24, at approximately 10:47 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino hotel on a report of a disturbance. The disturbance was only a verbal argument.

On 3/9/24, at approximately 5:39 p.m., Ameristar Casino security requested ID from an individual that was involved in a prior gaming incident. Male party requested LE be present before he would show his ID. Male party showed his ID.

On 3/9/24, at approximately 9:17 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle involved in a traffic accident at the Red Dolly parking lot, located in Central City. A report was completed and the investigation was referred to the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office.

On 3/10/24, officers responded to the area of mile marker 5.8 on Highway 119 on a 911 investigation. A female called 911 and threats were heard by a male on the open line. The female was contacted and had injuries but was saying nothing happened. CSP and Clear Creek contacted the male at mile marker 271 on Highway 6, and arrested him for assault and menacing.

On 3/10/24, at approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a welfare check for an intoxicated party. The individual was left in the care of a sober party and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/10/24, at approximately 4:37 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino for an ID check. Officers contacted a female party and cleared her. The picture on the ID matched the female party that the officers were speaking to. The female party was released on scene.

On 3/10/24, an officer responded to the Horseshoe parking garage for a vehicle break-in and theft of items. A report was taken.

On 3/10/24, at approximately 4:38 p.m., officers responded to Bally's North on a report of a wallet theft. A summons was issued to the suspect.

On 3/10/24, at approximately 5:11 a.m., officers responded to The Gilpin Casino on a report of a lost wallet. Officers responded, took a report and an investigation is ongoing.

On 3/11/24, at approximately 10:15 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino in reference to a theft. Dispatch advised that there had been a dine and dash theft that occurred approximately 45 minutes earlier at the Fireside Kitchen restaurant. An investigation of the theft did not reveal a suspect identity.

On 3/11/24, at approximately 12:33 p.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe on a report of a vehicle trespass in the parking garage. Officers took a report and an investigation is ongoing.

On 3/11/24, at approximately 8:59 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle bearing a reported stolen plate at the 5800 block Highway 119. The plate belonged to the vehicle and driver and was determined that the plate needed to be removed as having stolen status. Therefore the vehicle was released with a warning.

On 3/12/24, at approximately 3:19 a.m., officers observed a vehicle that was driving carelessly in the 7500 block of Highway 119. The driver was stopped and was lost due to the first time being in the area. The driver was issued a warning.

On 3/12/24, at approximately 8:39 p.m., officers were conducting a garage check in Lady Luck parking garage. While conducting a check a citizen turned in a wallet that was found at a Denver gas station. The property was checked in for safekeeping and the owner has been contacted.

On 3/12/24, at approximately 8:52 p.m., officers observed a vehicle in the 100 block of Main Street driving at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop. The driver stated he was doing 30 MPH and did not know the speed limit was 15 MPH. The driver was given a warning.

On 3/12/24, at approximately 7:46 p.m., officers observed a car impeding traffic and braking erratically at the 5800 block of Highway 119. Upon contact, the driver was unfamiliar with the area and was scared of the road curvature in the dark. The driver was given a warning.

On 3/12/24, officers responded to a physical disturbance at the Ameristar Casino in reference to a physical disturbance, a primary aggressor was determined and arrested.

On 3/12/24, Black Hawk Police officers responded to Monarch Hotel on a welfare check for a seven-year-old boy who got his foot stuck in the hotel lobby revolving door. Gilpin Medics were called to evaluate the boy and determined that no injury occurred. While medics were medically accessing the boy, they felt that some child neglect or abuse might be occurring. A report was filed with Child Protection Services.

On 3/13/24, officers were dispatched to the Dakota Parking Lot regarding a trespass. According to the dispatch call notes, a male party was issued a trespass and was sitting in a Black truck located in the Dakota Lot. The notes also stated something about smoking something other than a cigarette. The male party was contacted and given a business card.

On 3/13/24, at approximately 1:14 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a welfare check.

On 3/13/24, at approximately 9:13 p.m., a call came in regarding a male party stuck in an elevator at the Ameristar Casino. It was also reported that the male party was kicking and punching the elevator. Fire/rescue got the suspect out and he was identified. Charges are pending.

On 3/14/24, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of parties trapped in an elevator. Technicians could repair the elevator and the parties inside got out without incident.

On 3/14/24, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a party trespassing on their property. The adult male party was contacted and issued a summons.

On 3/14/24, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a female party reported her phone was stolen at the Ameristar Casino security identified the suspect. After attempting to contact the suspect, the suspect contacted the victim and returned the phone. A warning was issued.

On 3/14/24, at approximately 5:17 p.m., a female party turned in a cell phone to Black Hawk officers. The phone was booked into safekeeping.

On 3/15/24, at approximately 4:24 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle blocking traffic on the 200 block of Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and the vehicle was able to be moved.

On 3/15/24, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a stolen cell phone at the Lodge Casino.

On 3/15/24, at approximately 10:43 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of a fictitious temporary permit occurring on the 400 block of Main Street. The driver was issued a summons and a report was completed.

On 3/15/24, at approximately 10:57 p.m., a male party was driving in the Lodge Casino parking lot and struck another car. The male party left the scene but crashed in Gilpin County. The male party was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and careless driving. He was issued a summons and released.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 12 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a disturbance between to male parties. Officers spoke to the victim and were informed that the suspect threatened him. Officers contacted and spoke to the suspect and issued him a summons.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 5:34 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Selak Street and Gregory Street on a report of a disturbance. Nothing criminal was determined to have occurred. A traffic accident allegedly occurred in Gilpin County jurisdiction. Officers cleared the accident with a field interview report after parties declined to be referred to Colorado State Patrol.

On 3/16/24, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Bally's North Casino on a report of a liquor theft. Upon contact, the suspect resisted arrest and assaulted two police officers. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 12:50 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Miners Road on the report of a theft of property. A suspect has not yet been identified.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an underage person gaming. Officers obtained all pertinent information to pass onto the Division of Gaming.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 9 p.m., a Colorado State Patrol Trooper was on a traffic stop inside the Monarch parking garage and requested cover when patrolling the parking garage. The Trooper arrested a suspect for DUI investigation.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlights occurring on Highway 119 at mile marker 5.8. A verbal warning was given and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/16/24, officers conducted a traffic stop at the post office parking lot. The driver stopped in a lane of traffic and failed to use a turn signal numerous times. A verbal warning was given and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 9:41 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an obstructed license plate occurring at Highway 119 mile marker 5.8. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 9:49 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that continued to creep towards the middle of an intersection while a red light was displayed. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/16/24, officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with no headlights. The driver was given a verbal warning, and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 9:59 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlights occurring at Main Street and Miners Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 10:07 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that ran a red light. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 10:22 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no headlights on. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/16/24, officers conducted a traffic stop for a speeding vehicle. A verbal warning was given to the driver, and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 10:48 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired plates. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/16/24, at approximately 11:07 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a white GMC Terrain fail to yield to pedestrians crossing the street at Main and Richman Streets. The officers initiated a traffic stop on Highway 119 just past Main and Mill. The driver was given a verbal warning.

On 3/16/24, at 11:09 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of an expired temporary tag on Highway 119 at mile marker 6.1. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/17/24, at approximately 1:31 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino for a male party wanting to make a report. Officers contacted the male party and were informed about a verbal altercation that had occurred. A report was made.

On 3/17/24, at approximately 8:03 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino in reference to a hit-and-run. Upon arrival, the RP advised that his black GMC Sierra truck was parked on the eighth floor of the Monarch casino between March 16 at 8 p.m. and March 17 at 7:30 a.m. The RP advised that he initially wanted to report a hit and run accident. The RP stated that while the officer was en route to his location, he spoke with Monarch security who advised that the person who hit his vehicle had left their name and number. The RP advised that he would be reaching out to them to make an insurance claim.

On 3/17/24, an officer responded to the Horseshoe parking garage on a report of a hit-and-run incident. No suspect was identified.

On 3/17/24, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of a stolen cell phone. The suspect was contacted at the Monarch Casino floor and was issued a summons for theft.

On 3/17/24, officers observed a carelessly driving vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Richman Street. Upon the stop the driver did not have a valid driver's license or insurance. The driver was issued a summons.

On 3/18/24, officers responded to Monarch Casino on the report of a male party being deemed intoxicated, attempting to drive his vehicle out of the Monarch parking garage. Upon arrival, officers were able to ask the male party to lock his car, give his keys to lost and found, and go over to the Horseshoe Casino to wait for a bus. The call was cleared with an FI contact.

On 3/18/24, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill collected at the main cashier cage. The bill was confiscated.

On 3/18/24, at approximately 7:28 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Ameristar Casino in reference to a found baggie of drugs on the casino floor. The female who dropped the baggie was identified and issued a summons.

On 3/18/24, at approximately 12:27 p.m., officers were asked to assist in locating a fugitive known to frequent the Ameristar Casino. Officers canvassed the area and did not locate the individual. The external agency was notified.

On 3/18/24, at approximately 1:55 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar parking garage on a report of a hit-and-run. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

On 3/19/24, at approximately 2:27 p.m., officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on a report of an ID that was stolen earlier in the day. A suspect was identified and an investigation is ongoing.

On 3/19/24, at approximately 10:05 hours, an officer initiated a traffic stop on Highway 119, mile marker 6, on a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the 400 and 500 block of Main Street. The driver stated he did not know the speed limit was 15 MPH until the patrol vehicle was behind him, and he observed the sign. The driver was given a warning for 25 in a 15 MPH zone. 

On 3/20/24, at approximately 9:48 p.m., officers stopped a REDDI report vehicle located at Highway 119 and Richman Street, the driver did not display any signs of impairment and was given a warning for careless driving. 

On 3/20/24, officers were dispatched to the Dakota Parking Lot regarding a theft of a jacket. The suspect was contacted and a report was taken.

On 3/20/24, at approximately 11:22 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino in reference to a trespassed party, the party was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On 3/20/24, at approximately 3:53 a.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to Ameristar Casino on a call of found narcotics on the gaming floor. Upon arrival, a suspect was identified, but officers were unable to make contact. Officers booked the substance in as evidence and issued a warrant for the suspect.

On 3/20/24, officers conducted a traffic stop in the Monarch garage of a vehicle not displaying a license plate. The driver was given a warning.

On 3/20/24, an officer responded to the police station regarding a civil stand-by related to a custody agreement. All parties were contacted and left without incident.

On 3/20/24, at approximately 11:05 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no visible plate occurring on Highway 119 at mile marker 6.1. The driver was issued a penalty assessment for display of expired registration tab and a report was completed.

On 3/20/24, at approximately 10:54 p.m, Monarch Casino requested law enforcement to verify an ID they believed was fraudulent. Dispatch ran the party who had a driver’s license out of California, but did not find a record. The person had another ID which was a photo of his passport that matched the person's name and DOB. The person told the casino he will bring a physical passport back tomorrow to collect his jackpot winnings. No action taken.

On 3/21/24, at approximately 4:37 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of damage to property. The suspect was not on scene so the officer reviewed surveillance and a report was taken.

On 3/21/24, officers responded to the lobby of the police department on a citizen assist. The subject requested a medical evaluation and was transported to the hospital. An officer took custody of the subject's dog and transported it to the Clear Creek County Animal Shelter.

On 3/21/24, at approximately 8:44 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Z Casino on the report of a person who was unconscious and had faint breath. The Gilpin Coroner later responded and took possession of the subject. A report was completed.

On 3/22/24, at approximately 1:07 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlights occurring at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/22/24, at approximately 3:25 a.m., an officer took a phone report for a welfare check of an individual. The individual and an associated vehicle were unable to be located. A field interview report was completed.

On 3/22/24, at approximately 10:12 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a disturbance. A suspect was identified and the victim declined to press charges. The subject was issued a trespass notice and a report was completed.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 12:08 a.m., officers were called to the Z Casino parking lot on a report of unattended children. The children of the vehicle were determined to be fine, their mother was located and contacted, and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/23/24, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an intoxicated party. The subject was escorted to a hotel room by casino staff. It was later determined he had an active arrest warrant. Officers were unable to subsequently contact the individual. A report was completed.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 1:44 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a party trespassing. The party ran away from the casino when officers arrived and were later found. The party was issued a summons for trespassing and then was booked into Gilpin County for multiple warrants.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 4:35 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that drove through a red light. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 4:47 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a wallet theft. Officers later located the suspect and issued them a citation. The wallet was returned to the victim.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 6:01 p.m., officers observed a vehicle bearing a fictitious license plate at the 6000 block of Highway 119. The plate was seized and the driver issued a warning.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 9:26 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that drove through a red light. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 9:29 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle displaying expired temporary registration at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 9:31 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that made a left turn out of the Monarch and nearly collided with the officer. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 10:14 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to use their turn signal while making a right turn at an intersection and changing lanes. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 10:31 p.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a lost phone. Officers took a report and an investigation is ongoing.

On 3/23/24, at approximately 11:33 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an aggressive guest refusing to leave. The male was arrested and taken to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/24/24, at approximately 4:42 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a disturbance. A suspect was contacted and issued a summons. A report was completed.

On 3/24/24, an officer from the Black Hawk Police Department took a report on a hit-and-run accident that occurred at the Lady Luck parking garage. The case will remain open for further investigation.

On 3/24/24, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a lost, possibly stolen, wallet. The wallet was left inside a restroom therefore the surveillance video was inconclusive.

On 3/24/24, at approximately 5:55 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino for a male who was trespassing. The male was contacted and issued a municipal fine for trespassing. He was then arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail on six warrants.

On 3/24/24, officers took a phone report of a stolen cellphone. The reporting party claimed that they were tracking the cell phone. Officers were later notified that the cell phone was recovered. The case report number was issued in error.

On 3/25/24, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino regarding damage done to a machine. A suspect was identified and a report was taken.

On 3/25/24, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a trespassed party being on the property. The female was contacted and issued a municipal summons for trespassing.

On 3/25/24, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino regarding found narcotics. The narcotics were seized and a report was taken.

On 3/25/24, officers responded to the 100 block area of Gregory Street regarding a traffic accident. The driver was identified and a report was taken.

On 3/25/24, at approximately 10:18 a.m., dispatch received a call from an upset male asking for a specific officer. The male was upset that the officer was not available and told the dispatcher to "go f*#% herself."

On 3/25/24, an officer took a phone report of a possible hit-and-run that occurred at the Ameristar parking garage.

On 3/26/24, an officer from the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the parking garage on a report of a hit-and-run accident. The damage to the vehicle was photographed. The case will remain active for further investigation.

On 3/27/24, officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 119 and Richman Street. The vehicle had expired tags. The driver was contacted and identified. He was then given a verbal warning and a business card.

On 3/27/24, at approximately 4:43 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer responded to the Black Hawk Annex on the report of a found plastic bag that contained a white pill in the bathroom. Upon investigation, the pill was used for motion sickness.

On 3/28/24, at approximately 12:14 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for modified exhaust and display of expired registration stickers at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/28/24, at approximately 3:21 a.m., officers responded to level 8 of the Ameristar parking garage on a report of a hit and run. Upon investigation, it was determined no damage to the vehicle occurred in the City of Black Hawk. A field interview report was completed.

On 03/28/24, officers responded to the 200 block of Miners Mesa Road on the report of non-injury vehicle accident.

On 3/28/24, Black Hawk officers responded to a verbal disturbance at Monarch Casino. Investigation revealed that two family members were in an argument regarding a lost cell phone. The cell phone was located and the subjects were separated. No criminal charges were filed.

On 3/28/24, at approximately 5:12 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of an underage gamer. The officer obtained all pertinent information to pass onto the Colorado Division of Gaming.

On 3/28/24, at approximately 9:07 p.m., officers responded to a report of damaged private property at the Monarch Casino. Management and the guest wanted to handle it civilly. A report was taken.

On 3/28/24, at approximately 10:21 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a stop sign violation and speeding occurring at Miners Road and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/29/24, at approximately 12:03 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlights occurring at Highway 119 and Richman street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a report was completed.

On 3/29/24, at approximately 12:17 a.m., officers contacted a suspicious vehicle at the Saratoga parking garage. 

On 3/29/24, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of an intoxicated party that was becoming aggressive with security. The intoxicated party was transported to the hospital.

On 3/30/24, at approximately 1:23 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of expired license plates occurring at Main Street and Gregory Street. The driver was temporarily detained on warrants and released on a summons after the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office refused to accept custody.

On 3/30/24, at approximately 2:07 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a physical disturbance. Officers spoke to the parties involved and discovered who was at fault. The suspect was issued a Gilpin County Summons.

On 3/30/24, at approximately 2:27 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on report of a lost wallet and cell phone.

On 3/30/24, at approximately 10:26 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no license plate displayed occurring at Gregory Street and Main Street. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed. 

On 3/30/24, at approximately 10:59 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an expired temporary tag. The officer later released the driver with a verbal warning.

On 3/30/24, at approximately 11:13 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired plates. The officer later issued the driver a Gilpin County Penalty Assessment. 

On 3/30/24, at approximately 11:33 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a lost cell phone. Officers conducted an investigation and were not able to confirm the phone was taken.

On 3/30/24, officers responded to a physical disturbance in progress. A male was arrested for a violation of a protection order and taken to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/31/24, at approximately 12:03 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino, located at 488 Main Street, on a report of a physical altercation. A subject was contacted and found to be in violation of a protection order stipulation. The subject was arrested and booked into jail. A report was completed.

On 3/31/24, at approximately 5:40 a.m., officers responded to the Grand Z Casino to assist the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office. An arrest was made and a report was completed.

On 3/31/24, at approximately 3:25 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Hotel for a found substance. A report was taken.

On 3/31/24, at approximately 7:14 p.m., an officer initiated a traffic stop for an expired temporary permit. The driver had no valid proof of insurance and had a suspended license. He was given a summons to appear in court and parked the vehicle.

On 3/31/24, at approximately 7:13 p.m., Lodge Casino had two male parties that were gambling underage. A police report was taken and sent to the Division of Gaming for follow-up.

On 3/31/24, officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Main and Miners Street. The driver of the vehicle ran a red light and admitted to it to the officers. A verbal warning was given and the driver was released at the scene.

On 3/31/24, officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Main Street and Gregory Street. The vehicle had expired tags. The driver was contacted and given a verbal warning.

On 3/31/24, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding an unwanted party. A summons was issued and a report was taken.
