Eagles Teen Program Winter Break Drop-In Day & Field Trip
Drop In Friday, January 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Arts & crafts and open gym. Field Trip Monday, January 6 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Guided snowshoe hike at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Transportation and admission to the facilities provided by Eagles Teem Program. Ages 11 to 18. Contact Britton at bbarrett@gilpincounty.org for more info.
Eagles Teen Program – After School Monday-Thursday 4:15-7:15 p.m.
We’ll be providing transportation from Gilpin County school and will be running an after-school program from 4 to 7:15 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays! Daily program is free after a $25 annual registration fee.
After School Enrichment Camp
Monday through Thursday 4 - 6 p.m. Ages 5 to 12. $8 a day for residents. Have the kids ride the bus from school to the Community Center for our licensed childcare. All day Friday care available 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m., $45 a day.
Youth Basketball Registration Now Open!
Ages 5 to 14. Seven-week session. Practices start the week of January 13. Saturday games in Gilpin and Nederland starting January 25. $70 for residents, $84 for non-residents.
Winter Break Youth Camp
December 23 through January 6. Ages 5 through 12. 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. $45 for residents, $54 for non-residents. Ice Skating, sledding, snow sculpting, crafts & more!
Saturday Morning Clay with Steve: Throwing and Hand Building, Finding Combinations
January 18 through March 3. $200 for an 8 week session. Ages 14 and up. The Winter Saturday Morning Clay class will work at finding fortunate combinations of hand building and throwing. Cost includes instruction, open studio time, 25 pound bag of clay, glazing, firing. Additional clay is $15 to $25 per 25 pound bag, depending on the type of clay. Recycled clay is usually available for $10 for a 25 pound bag.
NEW CLASS “Fit for Life” with Jessica Polizzi
Wednesdays 5 to 6 p.m. January 22 through February 12. Strength, resistance and cardio HIIT/Circuit Training class. For all levels. Motivating music, high energy, plenty of encouragement and fun! $50 per 4 week session or $15 to drop-in
Adult Co-Ed 2025 Winter Volleyball League
8 week session. January 22 to March 12. Wednesdays 6 to 8 p.m. League Tournament is Saturday March 15. Co-ed ages 14 and up. $200 per team.
Parents Night Out
Friday, January 24. 4 to 8:30 p.m. Leave the kids with us for an action-packed evening! They’ll get to enjoy a dinner provided by us, along with fun crafts, swimming, and activities. This Parents Night Out will be a PJ Party, so wear your favorite pajamas and bring a swimsuit! $25 per child or $15 if enrolled in Friday Camp by January 24. Ages 5 to 12.
Friends of the Gilpin County Community Center’s “Heart of the Community" Fund supports residents in need with family punch cards for daily admissions, as well as scholarships for youth who need help to cover youth sports and classes.
