How long have you lived in Central City? 4 years

What post-secondary schools have you attended? Home and building inspection, drafting

What specific training or education have you received relevant to the position? Business owner overseeing projects and people for 20 years

Briefly describe your current career and home life. I own a small construction business mainly improving beautification to homes and providing maintenance. All kids are grown, just my wife and I at home.

List the local boards and civic or volunteer activities in which you have been involved and the dates of service. I've always been interested in helping people in need while doing it personally. Currently on the  sanitation board for Black Hawk and Central City (7/2026-present) and the planning commission in Central City (6/2026-present)

Have you attended Central City Council and/or other local government meetings? Yes

How would you improve the professional experience of Central City staff?  The professional experience seems to be there, we just need a plan to retain it.

What do you see as the major issues facing Central City? How would you begin to address them? While there may be answers, I need more input to categorize them. The public opinion is what  matters most.

As an elected official, what would be your top three goals for the city and county in the next year? Again, I will get more public input for these answers.

What would you prefer regarding the location of sexually oriented businesses in Central City – Main Street, or presently zoned Industrial area? Other suggestions? Not main street.

What is your opinion on G3 gaming development in Central City? I believe it will be the beginning of saving the city in today's world.

How would you collaborate with other Central City or Gilpin County departments and organizations? With an open mind and information to offer.

Why do you want to hold the office for which you are running? Have you run for/held political office before? If so, where and when? Ran 2 years ago. I want to give logic, fairness and experience.

Will you be able to meet the time requirements of the office? Yes

How have you, and/or how will you, operate with transparency and honesty in your role? With transparency and honesty.

How will you handle conflict resolution, if elected? The same way I always have at work. Get everyone's point collectively and have discussions  on solutions. It doesn't take just one mind to come up with solutions.

Please disclose any current personal and/or professional relationships with the City of Black Hawk, City of Central, or Gilpin County. I'm on the sanitation board for BH/CC as well as the planning commission in CC.

If you could ask one other candidate one question, who is it and what would it be?
