Astrology Night: Join us for a night of mystery with tarot readers, astrologers, reiki practitioners, energy healers, and more! Bring your friends and family and immerse yourself in the world of astrology and healing in support of the Nederland Food Pantry! 5 to 9 p.m., Nederland Community Center, 750 Highway 72, Nederland.

Movie with a Message: Join us as we watch and discuss two documentaries, “Stripped for Parts: American Journalism on the Brink” and “Manufacturing Chaos.” 2 to 4 p.m. located at the Gilpin County Public Library, 15131 Highway 119, Black Hawk. 

China “The Mysterious Dragon”: Welcome Lauren F. Pfister, Professor Emeritus of Religion and Philosophy at Hong Kong Baptist University, as he blends cultural observations with a travel narrative and shares his experience teaching for more than three decades in Hong Kong and learn about how America's perceptions of modern-day China may differ from lived experience. 10 to 11:30 a.m. Gilpin County Public Library, 15131 Highway 119, Black Hawk.

Game Night: Have fun and challenge your neighbors in some lighthearted competition, play classics such as Uno, dominos, or Jenga or bring your favorite games from home! 6 to 8 p.m., The Old Gallery, 14863 Highway 7, Allenspark.

Local CCC History Meeting: Join us for an afternoon of Coal Creek Canyon history and a special presentation from historian and The Moffat Road author Mike Maio. 2 to 4 p.m., CCCIA Hall, 31528 Coal Creek Canyon Road, Golden.

Bring Back the Pollinators: Learn why pollinator habitat is important and how we can bring it back. Presented by Pam Sherman, Xerces Society Ambassador. 1 p.m., Senior Lounge at the Nederland Community Center, 750 Highway 72, Nederland.

Friday, March 27

Parent’s Night Out: Leave the kids with us for a fun-packed evening! They’ll get to enjoy dinner provided by us, along with fun, crafts, swimming & activities! For ages 5 to 12, $25 per child. Please register at gilpincounty.colorado.gov/. 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gilpin County Community Center located at 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk.

Hidden Highways: Join us for an evening of learning as Conservational Ecologist Paige Singer presents a virtual talk on the importance of Colorado's wildlife corridors and how science can help us coexist with our local wildlife. 3 to 4 p.m., The Old Gallery, 14863 Highway 7, Allenspark.

Mountain Pine Beetle: Join us as we examine the Mountain Pine Beetle and its impacts along the Front Range. Learn how Pine beetles affect wildfire risk, forest health, and the wider habitat from representatives of the: Colorado State Forest Service, Clear Creek Watershed & Forest Health Partnership, and Gilpin CSU Extension.
