Boulder County Private Well Workshop: Are you a domestic well user in Boulder County? Do you want to learn how to protect your well and ensure the safety of your drinking water? Are you interested in learning simple, effective steps to keep your well-functioning and your water safe? Boulder County Public Health, in coordination with CSU Extension and the Colorado School of Public Health, invites you to a free workshop designed to help you better understand and care for your domestic well. Opportunities for free well water testing will also be available for interested participants. Composting in the Mountains Workshop: Workshop includes a demonstration of worm composting, and building an outdoor compost pile to apply the composting principles discussed. Dress for the weather, compost pile building will be outside. Presented by Gilpin CSU Extension. 5 to 7 p.m. at the Exhibit Barn, 230 Norton Drive, Black Hawk. 

Schools Out for Summer: End of school year celebration hosted by Resilience1220 at Wild Game Entertainment Center for Gilpin and Clear Creek County students. 12 to 3 p.m. at 1204 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen.
