Aaron Foster – Mostly Jokes: Growing up with a bipolar father and a schizophrenic brother left Aaron Foster with a combination of survivor’s guilt, depression, and anxiety that has invalidated his every accomplishment, destroyed his every relationship and invaded his every waking thought. The Old Gallery Cleanup Day: Help us get the outside space all spruced up for summer! Bring yourself a friend and a pair of work gloves and tackle the playground, patios and front garden! Refreshments will be provided. 1 to 4 p.m., The Old Gallery, 14863 Highway 7, Allenspark.

Silent Disco: Come celebrate the community, graduation, and the opening of the Vault! Dance the night away with local DJs: GODLAZER, Craig Beeman, and B-random. Benefiting the Peak to Peak Endurance Foundation. Free. 5 to 9 p.m. at The Vault, 26 Highway 119, Nederland.

Nordic Knife Sharpening at The Very Nice Brewing Company: Nordic Knife Sharpeners will be set up and provide on-site professional sharpening services at the Very Nice Brewing Company. Bring your dull kitchen knives, gardening tools, and scissors, and we’ll take care of the rest. While we work, take your time and enjoy a delicious craft beer. Community through Play: A free, low-pressure, LEGO building session open to all ages. Held in collaboration by Gilpin Community Center and Advocates for Recovery. 2 to 4:30 p.m., 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk.

High Altitude Gardening 101: Come learn about high altitude gardening from CSU’s Jefferson County Extension. Learn about growing vegetables in our high altitude environment and ask questions! Free, with light refreshments. 1 to 3 p.m., CCCIA, 31528 Highway 72, Golden.


Trivia Night: Come on down for a night of fun facts, good drinks, and friendly faces in support of the Nederland Food Pantry! We’ll recognize 1st and 2nd place with great gifts including swag, gift cards, and more! A portion of sales during the event will support our pantry. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Busey Brews, 70 East 1st Street, Nederland.


World Migratory Bird Day: Come see Wild Bear at this event celebrating our migrating birds! Bird walks begin at 7:30 a.m. and run every 30 minutes. Education stations open at 9:00 a.m. Visitors can also take part in a prize giveaway sweepstakes supporting World Migratory Bird Day programs in Latin America. Fiber Spinning Class: Have you ever wanted to learn how to turn fluffy clouds of wool into something magical? Join our merry band of fiber enthusiasts as we gather to learn how to spin fiber.
