Nederland High School Bike Team Fundraiser: Ritual MTB Film features a stoke-filled collection of short films from some of the biggest names in mountain biking. All proceeds go directly to support Nederland High School team riders by covering the cost of team jerseys, race registration fees, team meals, and travel expenses throughout the season. Join us in supporting the next generation of riders and helping build a strong, inclusive team culture, both on and off the trail. 6 to 10 p.m. at the Backdoor Theatre, located at 750 Highway 72, Nederland. 

Silent Auction Fundraiser: Please come and celebrate the Nederland Historical Society with light food and refreshments including specialty cocktails! There will be items to bid on across all price points. Art, clothing, books, dining experiences, jewelry, handmade goods, luxury items, and more! 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 80 Big Springs Drive #202, Nederland. 

The Old Gallery Cleanup Day: Help us get the outside space all spruced up for summer! Bring yourself, a buddy, a pair of workgloves, a rake or shovel if you have one. We’ll tackle the playground, patios, and front garden. Refreshments will be provided. Starts at 10 a.m. at 14863 Highway 7, Allenspark.

Nederland Farmer’s Market: Enjoy a variety of vendors ranging from artisan crafts to local produce as well as live music right in the heart of Nederland! 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 80 E Second Street, Nederland. 

Community Mother’s Day Celebration: All are welcome! There will be breakfast served from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by service from 10 to 11 p.m. at Nederland Presbyterian Community Church located at 210 N Jefferson Street, Nederland.

NICE talk with Altitude Animal Aid: Community members speaking on mountain topics. Listen, discuss, ask questions, learn something new! Altitude Animal Aid offers a wide range of veterinary services brought directly to your door. Join us for this informational talk about the services they offer. 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Very Nice Brewery Gilpin, located at 180 Jankowski Drive, Black Hawk.

High Elevation Gardening Class: Join us to learn about gardening at high elevations. This fun and informative night is brought to you by the Nederland Food Pantry/Peak Abundance, and is hosted by the Very Nice Brewery Nederland. 6 to 7:30 p.m. located at 20 Lakeview Drive, Nederland. 

Property Tax Question and Answer Session: Do you have questions about how, when, and why your home is assessed at the value it is? What can you expect for the future? Join representatives of the Assessor’s Office and get your questions answered. 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gilpin Community Center located at 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk.

Nature Trivia: Trivia Night with Very Nice and Wild Bear Nature Center. Nature Trivia! Prizes! 7 to 9 p.m. at BOTH Very Nice Tap Rooms located at 180 Jankowski Drive, Black Hawk and 20 Lakeview Drive, Nederland.

Gilpin County Early Childhood Resource Fair:  Expanding child care options and resources in Gilpin County—and creating our own! Learn about the supports available to people providing child care. Hear the latest on Mountain Kids, family, friend, and neighbor child care (license-exempt), how to get a license to provide child care, summer camps for school-age kids and enrichment opportunities. High Altitude Gardening: Spring is in the air! Learn about mountain vegetable gardening. Local Botanist, Denise Wilson, will talk about native plants and seeds. CSU Gilpin County Extension Service will present and answer questions. 1 to 3 p.m. at the Coal Creek Canyon Community Improvement Association located at 31528 Highway 72, Golden.

Parents Afternoon Out: Everyone’s favorite. Caregivers can drop off their child above 5 years old at the library for an afternoon of crafts, games, and a movie. 1 to 4 p.m. at the Nederland Community Library located at 200 Highway 72 North, Nederland.

Mini Market: Every other Sunday, come to the lot where Nederland Farmers Markets are held for our mini market featuring our robust produce booth coupled with two to three additional vendors. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 80 E Second Street, Nederland.
