Two Nederland High School seniors enjoy their Valentine ice cream sundaes from the Panther Parents.
Nederland Middle-Senior High School math teacher Mr. Geels declares peace as he grabs a bowl of ice cream during the special Valentine sundae treat day.
Yummy! Nederland Middle-Senior High School students love the Valentine's Day tradition of getting ice cream from the Panther Parents.
The Valentine's ice cream treats was for students and staff. Lulu is one of the hardworking front office staff members who needs some ice cream by lunch time.
The students could choose from many wonderful toppings to add to their ice cream. Yum! The toppings were donated by parents.
Panther Parent Sylvia Ralph was one of many parents who helped serve the students and bring a smile to their day.
Vice Principal/Athletic Director Mr. DePaula waited until all the kids had their lunch and a Valentine sundae before getting a sundae for himself.
NEDERLAND — If it's Valentine's Day, the Panther Parents (PTA) at Nederland Middle-Senior High School are prepared for the Valentine's Day Ice Cream Sundae Treat for students and staff.
The Panther Parents provide the ice cream (including dairy-free), the bowls, spoons, and volunteers to serve and clean-up. Families were asked to donate toppings for the sundaes. The toppings included chocolate and caramel syrup, whipped cream, mini marshmallows, M & M's, chocolate chips, gummy bears, sprinkles, and more.
Kids lined up at both lunches to graciously receive their sweet Valentine treat and choose their toppings. They were served with a smile from parent volunteers.
The Panther Parents say, "This is a fun way to show our love for our staff and students!"
