October Black Hawk Police

On 10/3/17 at approximately 2:50 p.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a female party who was trespassing. The female party was charged with Trespass and Contempt of Court.

 

On 10/2/17 at approximately 9:55 p.m., an officer performed a traffic stop with a vehicle in the KMM Garage. The female driver was issued a County Summons for numerous traffic infractions and released.

 

On 10/3/17 at approximately 3:24 a.am., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a suicidal male party. The male party was transported to Lutheran Medical Center on an M-1 hold.

 

On 10/3/17 an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino at approximately 12:57 a.m., on the report of a stolen cell phone. A suspect was identified and a report was taken.

 

On 10/4/17 an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a theft. The suspect was later issued a summons for theft and the property was returned to the owner.

 

On 10/4/17 an officer responded to the Eagles Mart store on the report of a theft. There is no suspect information.

 

On 10/4/17 an officer took a report involving a vehicle having items stolen from it, during the night. A suspect vehicle was identified, the investigation continues.

 

On 10/5/17 at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of a disturbance in hotel room 1410. A male suspect fled the scene and was later found and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 10/6/17 an officer took a report of a hit and run traffic accident which had occurred on 10/3/17, in the Lodge Casino employee parking garage. There is no suspect information.

 

On 10/6/17 at approximately 5:28 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a disruptive guest. Prior to their arrival, the guest punched a security guard in the face. Officers made an arrest and a report was taken. No serious injuries were reported.

 

On 10/7/17 at 11:19 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a cell phone theft.

 

On 10/7/17 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a harassment. The suspect was escorted off property.

 

On 10/2/17 officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a theft. There is no suspect information.

 

On 10/7/17 an officer responded to level one of the Isle parking garage on the report of a traffic accident. After further investigation the suspect driver was arrested for DUI, and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 10/7/17 at approximately 9:01 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of a female guest refusing to leave. A casino employee was charged with harassment to a casino patron.

 

On 10/7/17 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a theft. No suspects have been identified.

 

On 10/8/17 at approximately 7:38 a.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a welfare check.

 

On 10/9/17 at approximately 4:00 a.m., an officer took a phone report of a stolen temporary tag. There was no camera coverage where the vehicle was parked. Officers were unable to identify a suspect.

 

On 10/9/17 officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. After an investigation, one individual was issued a Gilpin County Summons.

 

On 10/10/17 an officer was dispatched to the Mill and Main Street intersection, on report of a hit and run accident, involving a vehicle versus a sign. Case is under further investigation.

 

On 10/10/17 officers responded to the Black Hawk Police Department on the report of an individual with a warrant. Individual was taken into custody and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 10/11/17 at approximately 2:36 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino hotel on a call of a disturbance. The male party was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County jail for domestic violence and harassment.

 

On 10/11/17 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. One party was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital, investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending.

 

On 10/11/17 officers were dispatched to the area of the Z-Casino parking lot, on the report of a party with an active warrant for his arrest. The party was contacted, arrested on the confirmed municipal warrant, and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 10/11/17 a party turned in a set of keys found in the Planning Department parking lot to the Black Hawk Police Department. A report was taken.

 

On 10/12/17 at approximately 11:40 a.m., an officer responded to the burn house on a report of a traffic accident.

 

On 10/12/17 at approximately 8:58 p.m., officers responded to Isle of Capri Casino guest safety on a report of found drugs. A report was completed regarding the incident.

 

On 10/12/17 at approximately 11:38 p.m., officer observed a traffic violation and initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was cleared though CCIC/NCIC and came back with three warrants. The driver was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County jail on the warrants.

 

On 10/13/17 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs. The investigation is still ongoing. The suspects had left the scene.

 

On 10/13/17 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino parking garage level one on the report of a vehicle trespass. Case is under further investigation.

 

On 10/13/2017 at approximately 2:47 p.m., officers responded to Highway 119 and Black Hawk Street on a two vehicle non-injury accident. A driver was cited for careless driving and disregarding a traffic signal device.
On 10/13/17 officers responded to cover paramedics and the injury was related to a physical altercation. There is a suspect and the investigation is still ongoing.

 

On 10/13/17 at approximately 11:10 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding the theft of a back pack. The back pack was later recovered and returned to its owner. There was a suspect.
On 10/14/17 officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. A report was taken and the bill was collected.

 

On 10/14/17 Officers responded to the Ameristar Parking Garage on the report of a hit and run accident involving a parked car. A report was taken and investigation is ongoing.

 

On 10/14/17 at approximately 1:18 p.m., an officer responded to the Lady Luck Garage on a report of a vehicle trespass.

 

On 10/14/17 officers responded to Chase Street on the report of a disturbance. The suspect was no longer at the scene and a report was taken for criminal mischief.

 

On 10/15/17 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft. The suspect was contacted, issued a summons, and the property was returned to the victim.

 

On 10/15/17 at approximately 12:15 a.m., a sergeant responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding money taken from a cash register. There was one suspect.

 

On 10/15/17 at approximately 6:45 p.m., an officer responded to the KMM parking garage on the report of stolen bicycles out of the back of a pickup truck that was parked on level 5. Two suspects were identified and arrested. The suspects were possibly involved in other motor vehicle trespasses and the investigation is ongoing.

 

On 10/15/17 at approximately 8:55 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of an intoxicated female. The female was arrested for motor vehicle theft by Gilpin Deputies and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 10/17/17 at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street on a call of a lost wallet. The wallet was found in the restroom and turned in, but the money was missing. There is no suspect.

 

On 10/16/17 officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino parking level two, on the report of construction material thefts. Case is under further investigation.

 

On 10/17/17 an officer was dispatched to the 200 Block of Main Street, on the report of a motor vehicle traffic accident. A Colorado State accident report was completed.

 

On 10/18/17 an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of two intoxicated parties. After further investigation both parties were arrested, and transported to the Gilpin County Jail for violations of protection orders.

 

On 10/18/17 an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino for a reported wallet theft. A report was taken.

 

On 10/18/17 at approximately 4:23 p.m., officers responded to the 200 Block of Main Street on a report of damage to a City of Black Hawk Vehicle. A report was completed regarding the incident.

 

On 10/19/17 at approximately 8:12 hours, officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of an intoxicated a party. A female party was taken into custody and placed on an M-1 hold.

 

On 10/20/17 at approximately 9:46 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a party trespassing.

 

On 10/21/17 at approximately 2:30 a.m., a Sergeant responded to the Gilpin Casino regarding found drugs. There was no suspect information.

 

On 10/21/17 at approximately 4:14 a.m., officers responded to Monarch Casino main cage regarding a counterfeit $10.00 bill. A report was taken regarding the incident.

 

On 10/22/17 at approximately 10:31 p.m., a city street pole was damaged in the 200 Block of Main Street due to high winds. A report was taken.

 

On 10/23/17 at approximately 11:00 p.m. officers responded to the Lodge Casino, on a report of a disturbance. A female party was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a male party was arrested on harassment (DV) charges.

 

On 10/24/17 at approximately 4:29 a.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of found drugs. One male party was transported to Gilpin County Jail without incident.

 

On 10/24/17 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a lost wallet. It is unknown where the wallet was lost.

 

On 10/24/17, Officers were advised of a cold assault which occurred the night before. Case is under further investigation.

 

On 10/24/17 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar parking garage on the report of intoxicated parties inside a vehicle.

 

The vehicle drove out of the garage, and into the KMM garage. After contacting the parties and further investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI.

 

On 10/24/17 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of theft from a motor vehicle, which occurred at the Lady Luck parking garage. Case is under further investigation.

 

On 10/25/17 at approximately 12:17 a.m., officers responded to the area of the 300 block of Main Street on a report of a stolen vehicle reported by Gilpin Deputies. The vehicle was located by Black Hawk Officers and a female party was arrested and transported up to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 10/25/17 at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to Monarch Casino valet on a report of found drugs. A report was taken regarding the incident.

 

On 10/25/17 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of stolen property. A report was taken, and no suspect was located.

 

On 10/26/17 at approximately 1:55 p.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a vehicle whose tires were slashed.

 

On 10/26/17 at approximately 8:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Main Street on the report of a vehicle accident with no injuries.

 

On 10/26/17 at approximately 8:12 p.m., officers responded to Miners Mesa Road and Main Street on a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident. A report was taken regarding the accident.

 

On 10/27/17 officers responded to the KMM Parking Garage on the report of a theft from a vehicle. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

 

On 10/27/17 at approximately 7:43 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a party refusing to leave.

 

On 10/28/17 at approximately 8:39 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen vehicle.

 

On 10/28/17 at approximately 3:48 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of an intoxicated party. The male party was arrested on four outstanding warrants and violating a protection order.

 

On 10/29/17 at approximately 8:25 a.m., officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on a report of a cell phone theft.

 

Surveillance was unable to identify the suspect who took the cell phone.

 

On 10/29/17 at approximately 10:18 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a fight in progress. A male party was arrested on harassment (DV) charges.

 

On 10/30/17 an officer was out with a one car motor vehicle accident at Highway 119 and Main Street. Officers responded to assist. The vehicle was later towed, and a Colorado State accident report was completed.

 

On 10/30/17 at approximately 8:50 a.m., Officers responded to The Ameristar Casino hotel on a call of a theft. Officers are conducting an investigation to determine who took the property.

 

On 10/30/17 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino to take a report of a cold personal injury accident. The victim was treated on scene by paramedics, and refused further medical treatment.

 

On 10/31/17 officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on a report of a male party refusing to leave. Male party was issued a summons and released from the scene.
