September Black Hawk Police

On 9/6/17 an officer contacted a party on a traffic stop. The party had an outstanding warrant and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/4/17 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a party trespassing. The male suspect left the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.

 

On 9/4/17 at approximately 12:55 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a hit and run accident. After arrival, it turned out it was a criminal mischief report.

 

On 9/4/17 at approximately 4:12 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance between a male and female party at the Isle Casino. A male was later arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail for harassment (DV) charges.

 

On 9/4/17 at approximately 7:46 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a female party attempting to use a fake ID at the ID post.

 

On 9/5/17 at approximately 12:05 a.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was seized and booked into evidence.

 

On 9/5/17 an officer responded to the Ameristar Hotel for found drug paraphernalia. A report was taken.

 

On 9/7/17 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an intoxicated female. The female was determined to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was arrested and taken to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/7/17 officers responded to the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected and a report was taken.

 

On 9/7/17 at approximately 9:43 p.m., officers responded to 488 Main Street on a report of a theft of a wallet. A report was completed regarding the incident. A male and female were cited for theft.

 

On 9/9/17 officers responded to the report of criminal mischief. The investigation was conducted and the suspect is unknown at this time.

 

On 9/9/17 at approximately 1:30 p.m., an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of stolen items. A suspect was identified and report taken.

 

On 9/9/17 at approximately 4:23 p.m., officers responded to 401 Main Street, guest safety office, regarding a report of criminal mischief that took place at The Lady Luck Casino. A male was contacted a cited for criminal mischief.

 

On 9/10/17 a party called the Black Hawk Police Department to report her phone stolen at the Isle Casino. No suspects have been identified.

 

On 9/10/2017 officers responded to the KMM Parking Garage on the report of a disturbance. After investigating, one individual was arrested.

 

On 9/10/17 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an intoxicated party refusing to leave. The party was contacted and after further incidents, was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/10/17 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of damage to a vehicle at the Ameristar Casino. A report was taken and no suspect was identified.

 

On 9/10/17 at approximately 9:29 a.m., a fire fighter was injured on a call.

 

On 9/10/17 at approximately 9:29 a.m., officers responded to a residence on a medical call, which was listed as an Unattended Death.

 

On 9/10/17 at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers responded to The Ameristar Casino parking garage on a call of two males smoking drugs in a vehicle. Both males were arrested and transported to the Gilpin County jail.

 

On  9/11/17 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of an intoxicated party in the 300 block of Main Street. A male party was contacted and arrested for violation of a protection order, the party was booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/11/17 at approximately 3:47 p.m., while at the Isle Casino, an officer was told about a verbal disturbance between a male and female in the Lady Luck parking garage. The male party was cleared and came back with 3 warrants. The male was issued a summons for false reporting and booked into Gilpin County jail on the warrants.

 

On 9/11/17 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a disturbance between a male and female. The male party was transported to Gilpin County Jail. The female party was transported to Lutheran Medical Center by Paramedics.

 

On 9/11/17 at approximately 8:15 a.m., an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on a report of an employee who was assaulted near Crooks Palace parking.

 

On 9/12/17 at approximately 8:13 a.m., an officer responded to the KMM Parking Garage on a report of a vehicle trespass.

 

On 9/12/17 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was seized and forwarded to the secret service.

 

On 9/13/17 an officer responded to the Sasquatch Casino on the report of fraudulent checks, which were found to have been used at the Sasquatch and Isle Casinos. There is suspect information.

 

On 9/13/17 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a motorist assist. The involved party was arrested for an outstanding warrant and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/13/17 at approximately 7:30 p.m., an officer responded to the Isle Parking Garage regarding a disturbance. One male was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/14/17 an officer responded to a hit and run accident that occurred in the Ameristar Casino garage. There is suspect information.

 

On 9/14/17 an officer responded to the Horn Street staircase on the report of damage to property. A tree had fallen and damaged a portion of the staircase.

 

On 9/15/17 officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of an individual with a possible warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the individual was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/15/17 at approximately 12:50 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a physical disturbance that occurred at the Lady Luck parking garage and the suspect and victim had already left the city going south bound on Highway 119. With Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office assistance, the officer was able to arrest the suspect for assault (DV) and he was booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/16/17 at approximately 2:20 p.m., an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. There is suspect information.

 

On 9/17/17 at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on a disturbance. A female party was arrested for harassment and obstructing a police officer.

 

On 9/17/17 officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected and a report was taken.

 

On 9/17/17 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of an intoxicated party at the Isle Casino. The party was found to have a medical issue and was transported by Gilpin County Ambulance.

 

On 9/17/17 an officer transported a male party to the jail. A Jail Deputy refused the party for medical reasons. The unknown male suspect was released from custody prior to medical staff transporting him to the hospital.

 

On 9/17/17 the Black Hawk Police Department received a call from another law enforcement agency about a cold assault that occurred in November 2016. A report was taken.

 

On 9/17/17 an Officer responded to the Red Dolly Casino for a private property damage incident. The suspect was located and issued a summons.

 

On 9/17/17 at approximately 11:36 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance. One male party was transported to Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/18/17 officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel lobby on the report of a party trespassing. The suspect was arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/18/17 at approximately 7:24 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of found drugs. A male suspect was identified, arrested, and booked into Gilpin County Jail for possession of methamphetamine.

 

On 9/20/17 at approximately 12:15 a.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a lost, possibly stolen wallet. There is no suspect information.

 

On 9/21/17 at approximately 1:36 a.m., an officer responded to The Lodge Casino, on a call of found drugs. The officer was unable to determine who the drugs belonged to.

 

On 9/21/17 an officer responded to the City Hall parking lot on the report of a traffic accident. The accident resulted in damage to city property and a city owned vehicle.

 

On 9/21/17 an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of a female party with active warrants. The female party was contacted, arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/23/17 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs. There is suspect information.

 

On 9/23/17 at approximately 10:41 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an intoxicated female party. The female was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital in protective custody.

 

On 9/24/17 at approximately 3:20 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a REDDI vehicle. The driver was transported to the Gilpin County Jail without incident.

 

On 9/24/17 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a verbal disturbance. After an investigation, it was determined a physical altercation occurred at the Monarch Casino. Two parties were issued municipal summons.

 

On 9/24/17 an officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill, with suspects on scene. After further investigation the suspects were cleared, and the bill was seized for evidence.

 

On 9/24/17 at approximately 11:01 p.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of an intoxicated party. The party was taken to the hospital.

 

On 9/26/17 an officer was dispatched to the 1000 Block of Chase Gulch on the report of a storage shed being broken into, and extensive damaged property. The case is under further investigation.

 

On 9/25/17 an officer responded to the Gilpin Casino for a warrant arrest. The party was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/25/17 at approximately 2:57 a.m., an Officer received a phone report of a vehicle theft. A report was written and a warrant will be issued for the suspect.

 

On 9/26/17 at approximately 10:02 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a theft. The property was recovered and returned to the owner.

 

On 9/27/17 at approximately 1:02 p.m., an officer responded to 201 Selak Street on a report of a white bag with unknown contents. The bag contained an oxygen tank. The bag was collected and booked into safekeeping.

 

On 9/27/17 an officer took a phone report regarding an unlawful sexual contact which had occurred on 9/25/17 at the Lady Luck Casino hotel. There is suspect information.

 

On 9/28/17 at approximately 2:56 a.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street, the Ameristar Casino on a call of a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was seized and booked in to evidence.

 

On 9/29/17 officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a suicidal party. The party was treated by paramedics on scene, and later transported to the Lutheran Medical Center, for a mental health hold.

 

On 9/29/17 Black Hawk officers responded to a report of a suicidal person armed with a handgun.

 

On 9/29/17 officers responded to the Golden Gates Casino on the report of found drugs. A male suspect was arrested and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

 

On 9/30/17 at approximately 7:05 p.m., an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino to assist the grave yard shift on a call. The call was a suspicious container left in the parking lot. The container was picked up by its owner and they apologized for leaving it.

 

On 9/30/17 at approximately 8:13 p.m., officers responded to the Z Casino on the report of a theft.
