Ned RINK prepares for season

hockey-lake Barbara Lawlor, Nederland. Waiting for a cold spell. Nederland RINK manager Ryan Keenan works on the transition from tennis court to ice rink. Although the rink looks more like a reflection pool than an ice rink, Keenan and a team of volunteers are laying down the protective plastic cover that will hold the ice once temperatures dip. Then the crews will flood the court at night, layer upon layer until there is a smooth white surface. Check the RINK web site for information on opening for the holidays.hockey
