Holiday Mountain Market Thanks

Serene Karplus, Nederland.  Last week we thanked the hundreds of shoppers who shopped local at the Holiday Mountain Market and supported the microbusiness artisans/crafters and a handful of nonprofits, keeping $40,000 circulating in our local mountain economy and generating over $1,300 in taxes for the Town of Nederland.

Hundreds of people produce this big show and we can’t quite thank each and every one of them by name – we just don’t know the names of every choir member and dancer in every group and the supportive friends who help haul and set up artisan displays. The many hours of work developing skills and producing items and performances to create a festive holiday presentation for the market pulls together an extraordinary event for everyone. Thank you for your gifts to our entire community!
