Michel Tapia, Eldora Mountain Resort. Thursday’s winter storm hit ELDO with 12 inches of fresh cold snow and ideal temperatures for snowmaking to help kick off the 2016-2017 season. Sensational early season snow conditions will enable our operations team to offer our guests the ability to ski & ride in the alpine area on Monday, November 21st starting at 9am.
“With more promising winter weather coming in this Tuesday, we can provide a limited amount of terrain and lift access to create a quality Thanksgiving weekend experience for our Eldora guests,” said JP Chevalier, Marketing and Skier Services Director.
Make sure you plan to get your Eldora season pass printed at Christy Sports Boulder this weekend or give yourself plenty of time when you arrive at the ski area. If you have a Rocky Mountain Super Pass +, make sure you collect this in advance to arriving at Eldora.
Remember to “Drive Less, Ski More” over the Thanksgiving holidays by choosing to ski & ride at Eldora! Eldora is looking forward to a fantastic 2016-2017 winter season opening and pleasant Thanksgiving weekend.
Nordic enthusiasts will need to wait for another good snow storm before access is permitted for cross country skiing.
