police reportsOn 6/7/16 at approximately 0207 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a fight which had just occurred. The suspect was charged.

On 6/7/16 at approximately 1356 hours, an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen vehicle recovery.

On 6/7/16 at approximately 2132 hours, an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a stolen wallet. The suspect has been identified and charges will be filed.

On 6/8/16 at approximately 1809 hours, Officers responded to level 7 of the Ameristar parking garage on the report of a damaged vehicle. A suspect was identified and charged.

On 6/9/16 at approximately 0201 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a party taking pictures up women’s skirts. The suspect was identified.

On 6/9/16 Officers responded to the KMM parking garage on the report of a possible stolen vehicle. There is suspect information.

On 6/9/16 Officers responded to Highway 119 and Main Street to contact three parties who were walking down the road and might of been involved in an incident in the county. Members of the Sheriff’s Office and Colorado State Patrol arrived and took over the investigation.

On 6/11/16 at approximately 2245 hours, an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a passed counterfeit bill. A report was taken.

On 6/11/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for an intoxicated party. Upon contact, the party was found to be in possession of a firearm. Party was cited and released to a sober party. Weapon was seized.

On 6/11/16 at approximately 1810 hours, Officers were contacted by a male who wanted to report vandalism to his vehicle in the 200 block of Gregory Street. A report was taken regarding the incident.
On 6/12/16 Officers responded to the Z Casino regarding drug activity.  One male was arrested and released pending charges for possession of Methamphetamine.

On 6/12/16 at approximately 1447 hours, Officers responded to the Isle Casino regarding a theft of property.  A male was issued a municipal summons and released.

On 6/12/16 at approximately 2128 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male party exposing himself. The male party was contacted and issued a summons.

On 6/13/16 at approximately 0231 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Parking garage, on a report of parties using narcotics in a vehicle. Upon contact, the suspects attempted to flee and struck officers’ patrol vehicles. A pursuit ensued, involving multiple agencies, and the suspects were apprehended on Highway 93 in Golden.

On 6/13/16 at approximately 2122 hours, Officers responded to the Black Hawk Post Office on a REDDI (Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately) report. The suspect was contacted in the parking lot and determined to be under the influence. The suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 06/15/16 at approximately 0058 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar overflow lot to check the welfare of a dog in a UHaul. The dog was impounded, and later determined to be healthy. The impound on the dog was lifted.

On 6/15/16 an Officer responded to the Isle Hotel (401 Main St) on the report of a female and three children who had been stranded in a hotel room with no necessities. Upon arrival, the Officer helped with the civil situation by calling Jefferson County Human Services. A report was taken.

On 6/15/16 at approximately 1308 hours, an Officer responded to the Isle Casino Hotel on a report of found drugs.  The drugs were booked into evidence for destruction.

On 6/16/16 Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino for a welfare check.  A female was contacted and arrested for violation of a protection order.

On 6/16/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Canyon Casino (131 Main Street), for a reported party with a warrant. Suspect was contacted, found to have an active warrant and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 6/16/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman St.) on the report of a stolen makeup bag. A suspect was not identified and a report was taken.

On 6/16/16 an Officer responded to the Gilpin Casino (111 Main St) on the report of a counterfeit $20.00 bill that had been dispensed from a cash machine. The bill was seized and a report was taken.

On 6/16/16 an abandoned trailer was found in the 200 block of Dory Hill Road.  After investigation, a suspect was identified and arrested for theft and outstanding warrants.

On 6/16/16, an Officer responded to a Chase Street address, for a missing party. Upon investigation, the party was located and reported safe.

On 6/16/16 an Officer observed a vehicle begin to go south bound in the north bound lanes of Highway 119 at Richman Street and a traffic stop was conducted at the Isle Casino (401 Main St.). An arrest was made on the driver for a warrant.

On 6/17/16 an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino (488 Main Street), for a stolen cellular phone. Upon investigation completion, suspect could not be identified.

On 6/17/16, Officers assisted medical on a report of an unconscious party in a hotel room at the Isle Casino.  Some pharmaceuticals are being held for safe keeping.

On 6/17/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino, for a reported theft.  Investigation has not shown a known suspect at this time.

On 6/18/16 an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a vehicle being keyed sometime between the hours of 1930 to 2200 on 6/1/16. No suspects were identified and no surveillance footage was able to be obtained. A report was taken.

On 6/18/16 an Officer contacted a wanted party at the Sasquatch Casino.  The party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County jail.

On 6/18/16 at approximately 1724 hours, an Officer responded to a call of a motorcycle accident on Main Street and Black Hawk Street. A motorcycle crashed at low speeds and the driver had minor injuries. An accident report has been completed.

On 6/19/16 at approximately 0718 hours, an Officer responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of several parties who refused to pay an Uber driver.  The parties were not identified.

On 6/20/16 at approximately 0100 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of theft of a cell phone. There is no suspect information.

On 6/20/16 at approximately 0220 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a possible pulled fire alarm. The suspect was contacted and transported by Medics to Lutheran Medical Center on a M-1 hold.

On 6/20/16 Officers were dispatched to Main St. outside of the Lodge Valet on the report of a hit and run with significant property damage to a street light.

On 6/20/16 at approximately 1033 hours, an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino Parking Garage level 6 on a report of a hit and run accident. Investigation continues.

On 6/20/16 at approximately 1159 hours, Officers responded to the KMM parking garage on a theft of a vehicle. Officers have possibly identified one of the suspects.

On 6/20/16, While on an area check in the KMM parking garage Officers performed a welfare check on a couple sleeping in a vehicle. The female party was found to have two confirmed extraditable warrants one out of Jefferson county and the other out of the Westminster Police Department. The female party was arrested and transported to Gilpin county jail.

On 6/22/16 Officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of an intoxicated female party. The female party was arrested and transported to Gilpin County jail for violation of a protection order.

On 6/24/16 an Officer responded to the Sasquatch Casino on the report of a disturbance involving a male and female.  The male party was arrested for assault and violation of a protection order.

On 6/24/16 at approximately 1100 hours, Officers took a report of a stolen Colorado temporary license plate.  The incident occurred on level 2 of the Isle parking garage.

On 6/24/16 at approximately 1800 hours, Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Crooks parking lot (200 Gregory Street) on the report of a possible drug deal in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officer Hansen took possible drugs off of a male party’s person. The parties involved were released and the narcotics were booked into evidence for destruction.

On 6/24/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino, for a reported theft of a wallet. Upon investigation completion, victim’s wallet was located and returned, victim declined to pursue charges or further report.

On 6/26/16 an Officer responded to the Z Casino parking lot on the report of a lockout. The reporting party, requesting to gain entry into their vehicle, had a warrant and was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County jail.

On 6/25/16, an Officer responded to the Monarch Casino parking garage for a vehicle trespass. Upon scene investigation, multiple items were reported as stolen.

On 6/25/16, Officers responded to the Lady Luck parking garage on the report of a party refusing to give car keys back to the owner. The party was later contacted and removed from inside the vehicle.  Due to self-inflicted wounds and erratic behavior, he was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

On 6/26/16 at approximately 1345 hours, officers responded to 131 Main Street, the Canyon Casino on a call of a counterfeit bill. The suspect was contacted and the bill was seized and placed into evidence.

On 6/26/16 Officers were dispatched to Highway 119 and mile marker 7.9 on the report of a motor vehicle accident with injures. The driver was transported to St. Anthony’s hospital by Gilpin County medics in stable condition.

On 6/26/16 Officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a cold assault. There is suspect information.

On 6/26/16 at approximately 2003 hours, Officers responded to the 300 Block of Main Street on the report of a Theft suspect from earlier in the day, who had just left the Ameristar Casino. The theft suspect was located and contacted at the Isle Casino. The theft suspect had a protection order listing one of the parties she was with as the restrained party. The restrained party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
