police reportsOn 5/1/16 an Officer responded to the Isle Casino (401 Main Street)for the reported theft of a wallet. Upon investigation completion, there is no identifiable suspect.

On 5/1/16 an Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman Street) on the report of a stolen wallet. Upon investigation, two suspects were identified and a report was taken.

On 5/1/16 at approximately 2304 hours, an Officer observed a black Jeep turn left from Main Street to Gregory Street. The vehicle failed to signal and was stopped in the 500 block of Gregory Street. The Driver was arrested for driving while under restraint and the passenger was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

On 5/1/16 at approximately 2334 hours, Officers responded to the Canyon Casino on the report of a stolen backpack. The backpack has not been located and no suspects were identified.

An Officer was aware of an active warrant issued by the city of Black Hawk. The officer observed the suspect walking while on another call at the Isle Casino (401 Main Street) at approximately 0308 hours on 5/2/16. The male party was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/2/16 at approximately 1120 hours, a Sergeant and Officer responded to 240 Main St., the Lodge Casino regarding a welfare check. One male was taken into protective custody and taken to a detoxification facility in Denver.

On 5/2/16 at about 1400 hours, officers responded to 111 Richman St., the Ameristar Casino, regarding suspicious activity of an employee. A civil standby was done and the employee was suspended pending an investigation by the Ameristar.

On 5/2/16 at approximately 2030 hours, two Officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino (101 Main St) to assist BH Fire and Gilpin Ambulance Authority on a party that was unconscious and barely breathing. The party was transported to Saint Anthony’s Hospital.

On 5/3/16 at approximately 0212 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar parking garage (111 Richman Street) on the report of a physical disturbance. After investigation, an arrest was made for domestic violence.

On 5/3/16 at approximately 1930 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman St) due to the report of a five year old and a two year old left unattended in a hotel room. After investigation, the mother was issued a summons for child abuse.

On 5/3/16 at approximately 2343 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino (240 Main St) on a report of a stolen cell phone. A suspect was identified; the cell phone was retrieved. Suspect was issued a Municipal summons for Theft and was arrested on an unrelated warrant.

On 5/4/16 at approximately 0002 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on the report of several suspicious parties. A male party was later taken into custody for an unrelated warrant.

On 5/4/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino, for a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival and investigation completion, a male party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail for various charges.

On 5/4/16 Officers responded to the Sasquatch casino on the report of harassment. The suspect was contacted and released, pending further investigation.

On 5/6/16 at approximately 0535 hours, Officers were dispatched to Highway 119 South of Richmand Street on the report of a vehicle traveling Southbound in the Northbound lanes of Highway 119 and almost colliding with a Colorado Division of Gaming Investigator. Through further investigation it was determined that the driver was intoxicated and the party was subsequently arrested. The driver was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/5/16 Officers took an information report regarding a suspicious person who has been riding on the city buses. All of the involved parties were contacted.

On 5/6/16 Officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a male part urinating in the hotel hallway.

On 5/6/16 at approximately 1207 hours, Officer B. Davis performed a traffic stop at the KMM Parking Garage. The vehicle was displaying fictitious plates and the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. The passenger had a warrant. The driver was issued a summons, the passenger was arrested and the car was impounded.

On 5/7/16 at approximately 0329 hours, Officers, along with the Black Hawk Fire Department, responded to the Ameristar Parking Garage on the report of a female running around the parking garage tampering with the fire alarm system, which notified Black Hawk Communications Center. The party also activated a water valve causing water to flow on level 6 of the garage. The party was contacted and charged, while the fire department reset the fire alarm system.

On 5/7/16 at approximately 1816 hours, officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill.
On 5/8/1, at approximately 0352 hours, an Officer was dispatched regarding an intoxicated party trying to get their vehicle from the Ameristar Casino Valet. The vehicle was stopped and the driver arrested for DUI.

On 5/8/16 at approximately 1954 hours, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of stolen property.

On 5/8/2016 at approximately 2031 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an unlawful sexual contact. The suspect was charged.

On 5/9/16 an Officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino, on the report of a young child left alone in a hotel room. After further investigation, both parents were issued a county summons for child abuse and released.

On 5/9/16 at approximately 1534 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the Black Hawk Fire Dept. (196 Clear Creek St) on a report of damage to a City owned vehicle. A suspect was not identified; a report has been completed.

On 5/10/16 at approximately 1000 hours, Sergeant Johnson responded to 401 Main St., the Isle Casino, regarding the theft of a bicycle.

On 5/11/16 at approximately 0150 hours, Officers responded to the Saratoga Casino (101 Main Street), on a report of a female party trespassing. The party was identified but had left the casino. She was contacted the next day and issued a summons.

On 5/11/16 at approximately 1733 hours, officers were dispatched to Gregory and Main Street for a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident. A male party was issued and released on a summons.

On 5/12/16 at approximately 2026 hours, Officer Hansen responded to the Isle Casino (401 Main Street) on the report of a found firearm. A report was taken and the gun was booked into evidence for safekeeping.

On 5/13/16 at approximately 0006 hours, Officers responded to the Monarch Parking garage on the report of a vehicle being broken into. A suspect has not been identified.

On 5/13/16 at approximately 0216 hours, Officers responded to the Ilse casino (401 Main Street) on a report of a stolen vehicle.

Unidentified suspects were seen breaking into the vehicle and driving it out of the camera’s view. The vehicle was discovered later parked in the garage, missing items. Suspects were not identified.

On 5/13/16 at approximately 2102 hours, Officers responded to the Sasquatch Casino on the report of found narcotics equipment. Officers took possession of the narcotics equipment and were unable to identify a suspect.

On 5/13/16 at approximately 2127 hours, Officers were called to the Monarch Casino on a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected and booked into evidence.

On 5/13/16 Officers responded to the Isle Casino parking garage to investigate a report of a hit and run accident. A suspect vehicle was identified.

On 5/14/16 Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of parties arguing. One of the involved parties was arrested for violating a protection order and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/14/16 Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a harassment. A municipal summons was issued.

On 5/14/16 at approximately 2349 hours, Officers responded to North bound Highway 119 Mile Post 6.0 on a reported one vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/15/16 at approximately 0256 hours, Officers responded to 111 Richman Street (Ameristar Casino) on a reported medical assist. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/15/16 at approximately 0445 hours, Officer Hansen responded to the Z Casino (101 Gregory Street) on the report of a found wallet containing a crystalline substance. The wallet was booked into evidence and the drugs were seized.

On 5/16/16 at approximately 0000 hours, Officers received a phone report that a missing adult was okay, but the caller could not provide her whereabouts. A report has been completed.

On 5/16/16 at approximately 2215 hours, Officers responded to the Monarch parking garage due to the report of a male and female party fighting. The female party was later arrested for harassment and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/16/16 at approximately 2030 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of fraud. The suspect has not been identified.

On 5/17/16 Officers responded to the Canyon Casino on the report of a theft. The male party was later transported to the Gilpin County jail for the violation of a protection order and theft.

On 5/18/16 at approximately 1645 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of a suicidal male party. The male party was released to Gilpin County Ambulance and transported to St. Anthony’s West.

On 5/20/16 at approximately 1511 hours, Officers responded to 101 Gregory Street (Z Casino) on a report of founds drugs. Officers contacted a male who was seen dropping a bag of methamphetamine from his pocket. The male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine as well as an active warrant for his arrest. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 5/20/16 at approximately 1634 hours, Officer Fiocca stopped a REDDI vehicle. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was placed into custody. The male suspect was booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/21/16 at approximately 0103 hours, an Officer was requested to respond to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman Street) for a counterfeit bill. Upon arrival, no suspect could be identified and bill was collected.

On 5/21/1 officers responded to a report of a male party at the Monarch Casino who had previously been banned. The party was issued a summons.

On 05/21/16 Officers responded to the 100 block of Black Hawk St. on the report of a motor vehicle accident. A Municipal summons was issued for careless driving.

On 5/22/16 Officer Adler responded to the Monarch Casino (488 Main Street), for the theft of money.

On 05/22/16 at approximately 1644 hours, officers were dispatched to the Canyon Casino on the report of found drugs.

On 5/23/16 at approximately 0100 hours, an Officer responded to the Lodge Casino (240 Main St.) due to the report of a lost wallet. Upon investigation, it was determined the wallet was stolen and a suspect was identified. A report was taken.

On 05/23/16, at approximately 1122 hours, Officers responded to 401 Main Street, the Isle Casino parking garage on a call of a vehicle trespass. There are no suspects at this time.

On 05/24/16 at approximately 2000 hours, Officer Watson was dispatched to the Monarch Casino (488 Main St) on a report of damage that was done to a slot machine. A suspect was identified and contacted. A report has been forwarded to investigations for follow-up.

On 5/27//16, Officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a found firearm in hotel room 836. The firearm was cleared, taken to the Police Department and booked into evidence.

On 5/25/16, at approximately 1410 hours, Officers responded to the Isle Casino (401 Main St.) on a report of a counterfeit bill. A suspect was contacted and arrested for unrelated outstanding warrants.

On 5/25/16 at approximately 2028 hours, Officer Baca took a phone report of a lost coin purse. The coin purse was stolen by an unidentified party and has not been recovered.

On 5/25/16 at approximately 2231 hours, Officer Baca responded the Ameristar parking garage on the report of a hit-and-run accident. A suspect has been identified.

On 5/26/16 at approximately 2333 hours, an Officer observed a vehicle on NB Highway 119 at Main Street weaving. The Officer initiated a traffic stop and through further investigation, the driver was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol.

On 5/27/16 at approximately 0155 hours, Officer Hansen responded to the Z Casino (101 Gregory Street) on the report of an unresponsive female party unconscious on the smoking patio.

On 5/27/16 Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an employee being harassed. There is suspect information, this case is active pending further investigation.

On 5/28/16 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an employee with a statewide extraditable warrant out of Denver. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/29/16 at approximately 2151 hours Officers responded to the Lodge Casino (240 Main Street), on a report of an intoxicated female party. The female was transported to a hospital due to her level of intoxication. She was found to be in violation of a protection order, a warrant for her arrest was issued.

On 5/29/16 at approximately 2220 hours, Officers were flagged down by an intoxicated party needing assistance to find a ride. The party was arrested for violating a protection order and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 5/30/16 Officers responded to the Canyon Casino on the report of found drugs. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
