Criminal in handcuffsOn 2/22/16 Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino, on the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was seized and placed into evidence at the police department.

On 02/22/16 at approximately 1958 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill.

On 2/22/16 an officer revived a report of harassment incident, at the KMM Parking Garage (255 Main Street). At this time there is no suspect information, case is being investigated.

On 2/22/16 at approximately 2323 hours, Officers observed an unoccupied vehicle which had slid off the roadway and struck a light pole in the 500 block of Main Street. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the owner was contacted.

On 2/23/2016 at approximately 0415 hours, an officer responded to the KMM garage located at 255 Main Street on the report of a motor vehicle break in. While investigating the original call, Officer Hansen was approached by another victim who arrived at the vehicle parked next to the original vehicle, and they advised their truck was also entered and ransacked. There are no known suspects at this time. A report was taken.

On 2/23/16 at approximately 1835 hours, Officers were advised of a party with multiple warrants at the Monarch Casino. A male party was later taken into custody.

On 2/25/2016 at approximately 0357 hours, Officers responded to 111 Richman Street (Ameristar Casino) on a report of a assault. After investigation it was determined that two males assaulted staff at the Ameristar Casino. The two males were arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail and charged with harassment and resisting arrest.

On 2/24/16 Officer Metcalfe took the report of a harassment which had occurred the day before. There is suspect information.

On 2/25/16 at approximately 1511 hours, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report that someone scratched the side of a vehicle with a sharp object.

On 2/25/16 Officer Metcalfe responded to the Isle Casino parking garage on the report of a traffic accident. Information was exchanged at the scene.

On 2/26/16 at approximately 1919 hours, Officers responded to 111 Richman Street (Ameristar Casino) on a report of lost $500.00 in cash. A report was taken, the cash was found and returned to the owner.

On 2/26/16 at approximately 2310 hours, Officers responded to 340 Main Street (Lady Luck Casino) on a report that a male had a counterfeit $50.00 bill. When a check for warrants was completed,the male had an active warrant for his arrest for FTA. The male was transported to the Gilpin County Jail on the active warrant and a report was completed on the incident.

On 2/27/16 an officer responded to 111 Main Street (Gilpin Casino) on the report of a counterfeit $20.00 bill that had been passed by a patron who was still on scene. A report was taken and the bill was seized.

On 2/27/16 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. There is suspect information.

On 2/27/16 at approximately 2010 hours, an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino (101 Main St) for a report of a counterfeit $20.00 bill.

On 2/27/16 at approximately 1605 hours, Officers responded to the area behind Miners Mesa on a report of shots fired.

On 2/22/16 officers received a report of a hit and run.
