I met Susan Elizabeth Lee when she was kicking off the Sock It To Em Workday campaign at the Metro Mayors Caucus legislative reception. Its a promotional campaign where residents are asked to forego wearing socks to show support for the homeless, and to recognize the great need for warm socks. Here is a link to their website
We packed the car with socks in Denver so I could bring them to Hanson for the 2015 season of Summer Sandwiches and Socks program. The Board of Trustees agreed to partner with the Summer Sandwiches and Socks program, and last year’s program turned out to be a huge success. Contact Hansen here if you would like to volunteer for the Summer Sandwiches and Socks program.
