Emma Hall is Our Best Choice for Boulder County Coroner

Dear Editor,

I rarely endorse people for public office. However, I feel strongly that Emma Hall deserves your vote for Boulder County Coroner. As the Owner of a funeral home with over twenty years’ experience, I know firsthand the positive changes that Ms. Hall has brought to the coroner’s office.

My funeral home works with Ms. Hall and the coroner’s office on a regular basis, and she has done many things to benefit Boulder County families who have lost a loved one. She is considerate and compassionate when working with families and does her best to accommodate their requests and timelines. Ms. Hall and her staff work very well with the mortuaries.

She has also made progressive changes to the death certificate process and is working with the state’s Vital Statistics Office to ensure that Boulder County is able to integrate with the state’s upcoming electronic death certificate system.

Ms. Hall worked hard to get funding approved for a new state-of-the-art coroner’s facility. This facility will be a huge improvement for the operation of the office and the convenience of our community. By consolidating operations into one building, the new facility will be much more user-friendly for families and mortuaries who need to visit the office to complete paperwork.

The office will also be much more accessible, have plenty of parking, a welcoming reception area, and access without the inconvenience of security checks that the location at the Justice Center currently requires.

Ms. Hall has a topnotch team of professionals that care about finding the truth and doing the best job they can to help families in the worst time of their lives. Boulder County needs a coroner who understands Boulder County values and a coroner that will stand up for our community. That person is Emma Hall. Please join me in supporting the re-election of Emma Hall.
