On February 12, 2014 at approximately 0015 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in mid-county and issued the driver a summons to court for driving with a cancelled license.

On February 12 at approximately 0145 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver was found to be revoked and was issued a summons.

On February 13 at approximately 1045 hours, a male party turned himself in on an active Gilpin County warrant. The party was able to immediately post bond and was released.

On February 15, a deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation that occurred on State Highway 119 within unincorporated Gilpin County, Colorado. The driver was issued a summons for the violation and the vehicle was towed. 

On February 15, a deputy received information regarding a possible theft that had occurred. A report was completed on the incident.

On February 17 at approximately 2040 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in south county and discovered the vehicle had fictitious validation tabs. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was issued a summons.

On February 18 at approximately 0150 hours, a deputy contacted a driver for failing to dim lights when approaching oncoming vehicle. The driver did not have a valid driver`s license or insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle also had fictitious number plates attached. He was issued a summons and the vehicle was towed. 

On February 18 at approximately 1825 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop and found the driver to have an arrest warrant and a suspended driver`s license. The driver was arrested and booked into the county jail.

On February 19, an adult female was stopped for weaving.  The female was arrested for DWAI. Drugs were found during a search, and the female was also charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance.  The adult female was booked into the Gilpin County Jail. 

On Thursday, February 20, a deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was issued a summons for the violations. No further action was taken.

On February 21 at approximately 0105 hours, a deputy contacted the driver of a vehicle on Highway 119, Mile Post 12.8, for traffic violations.  The driver was later taken into custody for violating a protection order and investigation of driving under the influence. He was booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On Friday, February 21, a deputy was stationary in his marked patrol vehicle within the northbound lane of Highway 119 of unincorporated Gilpin County, Colorado, conducting school bus patrols. During that time, another vehicle slid into and struck the rear portion of the patrol vehicle, causing damage. Colorado State Patrol was notified and a trooper investigated the accident scene. A summons was issued to the driver. No further action was taken. 

On February 22 at approximately 0237 hours, a City of Black Hawk police officer brought a male party to the Gilpin County Detention Facility located at 2960 Dory Hill Rd, Black Hawk, CO, 80422, to be processed on local charges. The male party had an illegal controlled substance on his person and was charged with possession of a controlled substance. The male party was processed into the Gilpin County Detention Facility without incident.

On February 22 at approximately 1929 hours, a deputy responded to a R.E.D.D.I. (Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately) report near mid county and arrested the driver for the investigation of DUI. The driver was booked into the county jail.

On February 23 at approximately 0220 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in south county and found no party in the vehicle to have a driver`s license. The vehicle was towed and the driver issued a summons.
