Eagle boys overcome Deer Trail

In the past week, the Gilpin County Eagles won their second game of the season 52-42 in a home match against Deer Trail. The Eagles led the entire game, entering halftime with a score of 17-15 and widening that gap in the third period, coming out on top in the end.
The Eagles now have a 2-2 record.  Chase Boulter is the lead scorer with 17 points; seven of those were successful free throws. Tyler Eldridge came up with 14 points for the game including five free throws.
