Peak to Peak Healthy Communities Project seeks donations

Peak to Peak Healthy Communities Project, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit, is seeking donations for spring kids programs in the Peak to Peak area.

Programs to be funded include:

Kids to camp.

An effort to send more kids to local camps this summer. With the help of many donors this year, over 50 kids were able to attend local camps this past summer and fall.

Spring brings new camps including:

Art with Jane, an introspective look at art, and hands on creation of art with modern techniques. All ages and abilities.

After school Art, Pottery, Kids cooking and more with Miss. Patty and Miss. Jacquie. This camp is geared towards K-5th.

Horseback riding with Sheila Ranegar. Love the outdoors? This is the camp for your child. Full day riding camps each week. All ages and abilities.

Bluegrass Camp with Annie Savage & the national touring band “Colorado”. Incredible camp that had it’s premiere last year. Held at the Nederland Community Presbyterian Church, this camp teaches all ages and abilities about Bluegrass with a focus on Guitar, Violin, Viola, Mandolin, Banjo and Upright Bass.

Kids game day. Board games and play time for K-5th in the spring. All elementary ages welcome.

Rock Camp with Jon Ridnell. A week long intensive study with one of Nederland’s best known musicians that offers an assortment of instruments to kids of all ages and abilities.

Camps that have previously been funded include: Wild Bear, Fly Fishing Clinics, Bluegrass Camp, Horseback riding with Sheila, Art with Jane, Art with Patty & Jacquie, Private music lessons at Brightwood Music, Highlands youth camps, YMCA of the Rockies AND MORE!

Peak to Peak Healthy Community Project (PPHCP) is a Colorado nonprofit corporation working to improve the quality of life in the Peak to Peak region. Founded in December 1995, PPHCP has been helping to create a positive experience for those living in the mountains for over 17 years!
